Just now, having a nap before my show tonight, with my hubby on the other side of the couch, my daughter right beside me, and my son spending the weekend with his dad....
These things were in my dream~

~ A mouse running across the floor and pausing, me picking him up ( afraid he would twist around and bite me) and throwing him at my cat. ( to get)

~ My hubby holding up a wall of the house all by himself... the wall was falling down, we knew it would happen, he told us to get away, out of the house, and held it up *to fix* all by himself. I told him don't be foolish, it will fall on you, get out and we will assess the damage later. There are other people to handle these things. ( I am gonna' throw this part in, maybe with a blush.. not that it is very different from my nature anyway..) I felt overwhelming desire for an orgasm. I thought... yeah, as soon as I wake up, I am going to have an orgasm.

Right after I had this dream, I was ready to wake up, and almost opened my eyes... My hubby woke up startled, in real life, and walked around the room, then in several, with a purpose.. He said he smelled fire... There is nothing burning. I smelled nothing.

*and I still haven't had my orgasm.

Oh, there was something burning ...

Those are some interesting dream snippets, and if it weren't so late, I might be able to think of something intelligent to say about them. Maybe later ...

Omigosh.. perverted as I am.. I didn't even think about the 'burning' thing. I like the way your brain works for more reasons now.....
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaa!!!!!!!!

Today, (er.. last night) I dreampt of a stretch of houses, by a damp feeling beach/summer home type place. I dreamed there was a tall, sort of ricketty structure which I loved.. it had this dark charm to me, and I wanted to fix it. Then there was this other house.. kinda' small, gingerbread charming... obviously more money invested in it's upkeep, a few houses down. Somehow from the beginning of the dream to the end of it, we acquired this new-feeling, smaller, gingerbread house. This was supposed to be a good thing, but I longed for my rickety one. I had plans there that no one else knew of.

Interesting.....I read once that houses in dreams represent either, aspects of self (mostly the inner dimensions of) or other people. After having reoccuring dreams of being in enormous, mansion type houses, and getting lost, or having the surroundings constantly change, I found this dream symbol of houses interesting.

I think because I was always inside the houses in my dreams, they were definite representations of inner aspects/levels of self. In your dream it seems you were outside of them, you spoke of a "stretch of houses" and the houses "structures". And you ended up "acquiring" one of them.

The beach/summer home type surroundings can show emotions (beach/water) and relaxation (summer home). Also summer symbolizes, something that has reached maturity or is at it's peak, in adulthood.

It seems as if these houses represent others in your life. And the way you described the houses even sounded like how someone would describe people. "Tall, sort of ricketty structure" (tall, real masculine, rugged type of individual) "which I loved...had dark charm...wanted to fix it (repair relationship or person)..." Then, "we aquired this new-feeling, smaller, gingerbread house" (someone completely opposite of the qualities the man/house above posesses) which was also, "charming" and "obviously more money invested in it's upkeep" (alot more tangible things invested with this person/relationship, more work and time invested here, you are aware of it's value/worth). It seems you felt that the gingerbread house was the more logical choice for a house, but still you had an unsatisfactory feeling about the outcome of actually "acquiring" it. You "longed for" your "rickety one".
The last sentence is interesting. You had "plans there that no one else knew of". Did you have a knowing or feeling as to what the plans were in the dream? Or was it a feeling that you just had plans, that were kind of "your little secret".

I think all of these dreams here are steeped with symbology. I wonder if this interpretation makes any sense to you. I also see this dream in a way that could represent the inner dimensions of yourself, possibly.

LOL! What sign's the moon in tonight? I've suddenly channeled Sigmund Freud, the way I'm interpreting dreams over here.

Hope you found that helpful....or at least interesting, in some way.

OMIGOSH!!!!!
I rushed right over here.

I am going to stop posting these 'house' dreams.. because you are so right that they represent people, and well....... I am so not comfortable divulging quite so much about my 6'3 husband and other people who are not as tall but have money.
Holy $#!^, woman.. you are too good.*my little secret indeed * not if you keep tapping it!!!!
Stop it.

(by the way, I also dream of houses.. the insides... quite a bit.. I love them. I dream of ornate japanese furniture, with carved legs and many drawers frequently too. I dream of vast rooms, small rooms, beautiful rooms, dingy rooms, closets.. I usually don't have bad house dreams.. only beautiful, interesting, full of surprises ones....
This one was definately about others.... oh.. I am so bad.

The Moon is in Taurus, Ma' lady.

Oh, I am editing here..... um.. I am not sleeping with/interested in the one with money... he 'propositioned' me, and I was so uncomfortable I actually told my husband, and we worked it out together. I have to hang around with him, and have quite a bit of my life entangled with him, which is why I was resentful that he 'went there'.... flirt all you like, I am playful.. but don't um.. you know.. game's over when I am uncomfortable and have to watch you pout when I tell you I won't sleep with you !!!!for the third time!!!! Not only because we work together, but because I am married, and frankly, money isn't a motivator for me...( and wow, isn't pouting like a three year old an attractive quality ..)
Love does it for me. That is the only thing.. intrigue and love. **sigh**

hehe. Coooool. Wow, actually...glad it resonated with you. LOL! It'll be *our little secret* now! .....errr...and Ra's.....and whoever else reads it. LOL

Yes, youre "bad". But that's why we love you!

Oh! the "house dreams" - always fascinating. My 'house dreams' are quite interesting as well. Ever changing and some wild scenery within them. Always lots of staircases and levels to them. Some rooms old and dusty, others lush, lavish and vibrantly decorated.

Amazing isnt it? ....how the mind works.....

And the Moon in Taurus......transiting my 4th house......that explains it!!

**just read the edited part.

OMG. Tell me about it. I know just the kind of guy you are speaking of. I've met many like the sounds of him myself. They dont seem to see (or care maybe) when they've made you feel uncomfortable, and persist at persuing you anyway. Not facing the fact that there is no chance. Or taking harmless flirting a little too seriously. God...I know, I know. And the pouty type is even worse.

Well, hopefully he gets the message. And not too much drama unfolds. It's nice your husband was understanding of the situation.

It's too bad you have to still have him in your life though. Sounds like some karma there.

Glad you have your heart in the right place. That's all that matters.

Excellent, 26T. I made a few notes and you hit every point, and then some. Many thanks.

Hey, 26T ... there are a lot of dreams out there right now that I can't get to right away ... hint, hint. But seriously, any thoughts you might have on Eleanore's or any of the others are more than welcome.

Another of my old dream bumps...

This one was just plain prophetic. And 26t was just pinpoint accurate.
