A couple of weeks ago, I was having frequent dreams where everything was on fire. I had told my friend about it, and I had thought it kind of strange. Well a couple of days later, my roommates and I were in the living room, and noticed a strange smell. We looked back in their bedroom, and a lamp had fallen on one of those old bean bag chairs and pretty soon the whole apt complex had filled up with smoke and there was smoldering fire which had destroyed half of their clothes.

Later on I was lying on the couch and when I had closed my eyes, I saw a blinding light, and watched myself being murdered, like a scene in a movie. I had blacked out after that. I'm kind of worried. Someone had told me that witnessing your own death meant you were starting a new chapter in your life, has anyone heard this before, or had a similar thing happened to them? Or does it just mean I'm gonna be murdered?

I doubt it means you'll be murdered (or at least let's hope not!). Having one promotion dream doesn't mean they will all be. Were there similarities and differences with the dreams you notice first?

I've dreamed about my own death several times. hrmm how were you being killed? That might have some symbolism in it to consider!

BloodRedMoon is right on all counts, and her questions are very good.

The death in your dream probably symbolizes the death of some aspect of self, or some viewpoint, idea, situation, etc., and thus a new begining. It could also be a past-life memory fragment ... an opinion from my own experience.

Can you describe the murder?
