I was at a meeting of some sort in a park, and I remember the group saying, "Yeah, let Shawne do it, she can take care of it." And I didn't really want to do whatever it was they were wanting me to do and was looking for a way to escape. Suddenly, I was floating aloft above this park, in a diaphanous white gown, and I remember looking down at this frock and thinking, either I'm getting married or I'm dead (neither of which appealed to me). And as I ascended further and further above the full and ancient trees, Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights" is freaking BLASTING in my head. The higher I flew, the louder the song blared, and I told Miss Bush, "Hon, right now you're at about a 9 and I need you to be about a 4." *making a turn-it-down motion with my hand.So she keeps shrieking, "It's meeee, I'm Katheeeee, I've come home," and at this point I've had quite enough of the dress and of this song, so I rip the gown off my body midair, and underneath is a crimson satin strapless number. I remember thinking, "Yes, now, THIS is more like it," and I told Kate to SHUT THE F*** UP, but as the song faded, I lost altitude and landed God-knows-where in some green grassy field abundant with fog, kind of apprehensive about not knowing where I was at but relieved at the fact that I didn't have to shoulder the responsibilities thrust upon me at that outdoor meeting, wear that scary white gown OR listen to Wuthering Heights anymore. Interpretations? IP: Logged |

Welcome Rizzo That's quite a dream! I'll get to it as soon as possible. One thing stands out, though. At the very end you say "...relieved at the fact that I didn't have to shoulder the responsibilities thrust upon me..." Does that statement fit into your waking life in any way? IP: Logged |

Rizzo? Your dream suggests that you are going through some internal changes, with external effects that put you into a kind of "foggy" area, uncertainty. I know that is a bit general, but is this true? IP: Logged |

Sorry, I don't have notification turned on so I didn't know anyone had responded. And frankly, I forgot I had posted this!Yes, internal changes galore in 2004. My interpretation, which just sort of came to me, is this: A child floats in the sky, whichever way the winds blow and falls -"falls," descends or matures - to Earth as a woman fully realized. Would be, if story, the second Catherine who falls to mature, because the first Catherine - who is Heathcliff and one soul they feel - as - mutual - belief, albeit two half souls that never are complete in themselves or even in each other - fails, that is the first Catherine fails to fall and mature. The white gown ripped away like a virgin's veil. The red underneath, the true female, finally unfettered, revealed to the self and to the world. Thank you for responding! I hope your new year is going well. Blessings. IP: Logged | |
