Losing something and then finding it.. basic fears, as we travel through life. A handbag contains many necessary items.. both comforting and practical, so of course to dream of losing this as an adult could be the equivalent of a child losing a teddy bear.. maybe that works out the recurrent theme.. a handbag in a sense, represents the things you acquire, and as an adult, anxiety over losing the things we acquire.. whether our identity or our emotions or our possessions.
This to me screams anxiety.. do you have these dreams when anything is going on in your daily life, like stress.. family, job, relationship... Something is important to you, your sense of identity and it is suddenly lost, throwing your emotions into disarray.... General anxiety dreams drive me crazy. The times that you find it, do you have a sense of peacefulness coming into your waking life that you are assured that you'll work through issues positively?
Just my thoughts. I'm no Ra.

Hello sue g.

Miss Pixie's thoughts are more encompassing than mine on this one. I would have, as she eventually did, focused on identity issues and anxiety ... but any of the other things she mentioned are certainly possible as well.

What do you think?

*** thanks Pixie ***

***Thanks Ra***
Well, you know, I have this annoying tendancy to circle around the entire breadth of an issue, swallowing all aspects of it, until eventually I arrive at something resembling a point.
Case in point? This post riiiiiiiight here.
I just love words.

I've scared you off here many times.... innocently, of course.

Sue, come back, I didn't mean to scare, just play........
I hope all is well.
