I'm wondering what people's take on having a celebrity in a dream means...I looked it up online, but it doesn't quite seem to fit my dreams. Anyway so in the past few days I have had 2 dreams about this singer, Raine from a band I love whose lyrics are totally helping me get through a really really hard time. So yes, dream interpretations are right in saying that I idolize him. But the dream circumstances were odd...

the first one, I was in my ex-boyfriend's apartment, he wasn't there, and I was crying and begging for help, saying, "Help me, please help me," over and over again until Raine held me in his arms and told me it was going to be okay. That one..I woke up confused and feeling disturbed but thought it was cool that he was in my dream.

The 2nd one, made a bit more sense on the realm of who Raine is, we were in an auditorium after it had emptied out and just the band and a few other fans were left. I tried to go up to him and ask him for a hug... I do this with every musician I meet in real life after I'm done talking to them...and he pulled away from me, kind of glaring at me but with a blank stare, almost a look of bewilderment, and he didn't say anything, and then walked off past me and left the building. I felt confused by it all day, and I just couldn't get the dream off my mind.

I had a celebrity dream sometime last year.

A couple of friends and I were at my place for drinks. We were by the pool area drinking and talking, when I looked behind me where I saw Alanis Morissette, by the stairs leading to the top garden. She beckkoned to call me and I went to her. By this time I was tipsy. Anyway, we talked for a while and then she disappeared. All thi stime my friends weren't aware of the whole event.

That Alanis Morrisette dream sounds so awesome! I'd love to talk to her someday

VTT, those dreams simply reflect your waking life. He is "totally helping me get through a really really hard time." That is why he is in your dreams. I wouldn't really say it is necessarily an "idol" thing. Is it? Not that it matters a great deal, in this case.

"I felt confused by it all day"

Confused and disturbed ... does that describe your waking life situation?
