I must warn you, this is very strange. Last night I dreamed that I had a big bowl of rubbing alcohol. For some reason I took pink silly putty and put it in with the alcohol. Then these round, pink creatures shaped like humans but with no faces, all about 8 inches high popped up and started creating chaos all over my house! I tried crushing them to death, but they would just pop back to shape! Then they'd split apart and there would be more of them! Figuring out they were invinceable, I chased them around with a cardboard box, trying to collect them and take them to NIH to see just what I'd created. It was the weirdest dream I've had in years, and I don't know where to begin figuring it out!IP: Logged |

Hello LLL Yeah, that's some strange imagery. Sounds like an acid trip. So, let's see if we can figure out what it means ... First of all, is there something in your life that is kind of out of control? Something you are having trouble controlling that may be messing up certain aspects of your life? IP: Logged |

The thing that gets me, Ra, is that the little monsters were something I created myself, very deliberate and matter-of-fact. They weren't an outside force intruding my living room. I mean it COULD be a control dream, but not necessarily the kind you are referring to. I can't shake the feeling there's more to it than that. BTW, they were such a vibrant shade of hot pink, does the color pink have any meaning? On a side note, although I've never done drugs in my life, I've had some very "acid-trippy" dreams. Flashes of colors, obscure historical figures, and sometimes I hear music. But that should be for another thread... IP: Logged |

Yes, most definately self-created. And I suppose it is no coincidence that it was silly-putty, as it is famous for taking the image of something, in this case, an aspect of self. It could be that the bowl of alcohol symbolizes a need to be dis-infected, cleansed, and therefore perhaps a need to cleanse an aspect of self which has gotten out of control, more than likely internally, or at least within your immediate environment (chaos all over the house). The vibrant pink you describe could represent a sort of immaturity, with a feminine energy, or it could represent innocent/immature love, or romance. It's vividness could indicate a new beginning or developing. Have you been able to 'contain' it? Does this make any sense? IP: Logged |
