I'm really confused about this one...could be about a move thats coming up, or maybe something else...I just know that the details have stuck with me for a few days:I’ve been at this beach on a cliff and I can fly off of the cliff. There are a bunch of people around, hanging out and having the time of their lives. Something about washing clothes. Then, I’m in a house that I recognize. I’ve been there before, only I’m not afraid of it anymore because I know the secret to getting into the other world where I can fly off cliffs. I walk into the bedroom where a woman and her little girl are sleeping. I’m really excited to be getting back, and the woman opens a little of her eye to see who is bothering her sleep. Then she rolls over. I am ignoring her like they don’t really exist. I go over to the dresser where there are 2 clocks. I have to set them a certain way and they are counting down like a timer. I get really anxious and try to speed up the clock so I can get back to the place. The dresser turns into a dryer and I open it to pull out clothes that I remember from “the place.” I think of how I want to take them and I go over to the closet and find an album of old pictures and a book of modern art. I decide to take them to and I load everything in my arms and head out of the room into the stairway. As I am heading downstairs, I spot a little frog on the wall and I focus on it thinking of what it could mean. I go downstairs and open the closet where it is actually the door to the other world, but when I open it, it’s just a closet. I think of how the door didn’t open up because I was pushing the clock and I might have to try it again. IP: Logged |

Hello zoso Yes, the dream could certainly reflect certain aspects of your move, but there does seem to be something else. You associate the move with freedom? Are you going to change in some way when you move, like change your persona somehow or even your physical appearance? Or is there something about these that needs to be cleansed? Are you pushing too hard to get something? Are you unsure of "where you are"? Torn between the old and new? IP: Logged |

Yes definitely! Thank you Ra!I moved here to Nv when I was 12 because my mom "fell in love" so we ended up here with family, and stayed after the relationship broke up. I used to live in Phx (phoenix rising=rebirth) and have always wanted to go back because it sucks here. Well fast forward almost 10 years and I've decided to move back, away from my family and back to my old friends and my old city. Just when this town has grown on me, I know I have to be out on my own. I still feel the memories here (album, maybe?), but I want to start out fresh over there. Plus, I really need to get away from this obsession I've had for 3 years now. I need to get out of this rut and it's a bit symbolic because he lives in snowy mountain areas and I'm originally from desert. Now I want to get back to desert, where I always "find" myself (clean clothes). This winter was one of the worsts in terms of both snowfall/bad weather and psychological/emotional breakdowns. (the first probably causing the second, in part: I'm suseptible to cabin fever--typical sag) I'm still really excited to be moving!! I've kept in touch with friends down there for all these years,so maybe there's a reason for that... IP: Logged |

Definately. I think you understand the symbols pretty well. Have fun creating your new life! (modern art) Just be mindful not to fall into the same rut, or to expect everything to be like a fantasy (its just a closet). IP: Logged |
