For some time now I've been having dreams about my car(s). Many of them involve me going somewhere, parking my car in a parking lot or parking garage (somewhere where there are a lot of other cars), and coming back to find it gone, searching for it, and not finding it. In other dreams, my brother has taken it. My ne'er-do-well bro and I do NOT get along. In my dreams I am outraged that he would presume to take my car for any reason without asking. Cars are usually defined as Self, the Physical Vehicle, correct? What am I trying to tell myself? That I am lost and searching for Self? Actually I feel more in tune with the Universe now than I have for many years.... Anyone have any thoughts?IP: Logged |

Hi Azalaksh, I am not, by any means, a dream interpreter but, since you are open to anyone's thoughts...... The first feeling that hit me as I finished reading your post was, not that you are trying to find Self but, that possibly, you are afraid of loosing something of yourself that you have grown familiar to. This assuming that, the car in your dream, is actually the car you are familiar with in your awake state...? Just my 2 cents,.... hope you are successful in your search for the answer. ~ geminstone IP: Logged |

Thanks geminstone, that's an intriguing thought. And yes, it's usually my current car, or one of the two cars I had before this one.... It's disconcerting in a dream (and in "real" life!) to leave something somewhere, go off to an activity expecting it to be where you left it when you return, only to find it gone.IP: Logged |

Welcome Azalaksh You're right, cars can symbolize several things, often the physical body. But in this case, my thoughts are similar to geministone's. It could be suggested that someone or something has "stolen" your energy in some way, or perhaps you have been distracted or otherwise prevented from reaching some certain objective or goal. So, while you feel in tune with the Universe, you are also working to overcome a blockage, to get past a certain point. Does that make sense? Any specific situation or person come to mind?
