This is the first morning I've awakened with the purple disc. I wore it to bed last night to see what effect it would have on dreams. Just before I woke up this morning I had a dream that involved lost tickets. I have have had similar dreams many times. I will go somewhere far away to visit people I know, and then either: 1) the plane tickets for the return home are lost, or 2) we get to the airport too late for the flight. Is my Spirit Mind trying to tell my conscious mind that it wants to spend more time with friends and family? Or is it something deeper than that? Thanks, 'zala IP: Logged |

Hi Zala A classic anxiety dream theme. Your dreams could suggest that you feel you have lost the ability to reach some goal. Airplanes and airports often indicate something about the professional life, is that the case with you? IP: Logged |

Ra ~ I'm very happy at work -- I love what I do, I have a niche that I carved for myself, and I get to help people every day..... I thought it might have something to do with subconsciously NOT wanting to go home again, since the tickets never get lost on the way to GOING somewhere, only coming home.IP: Logged |

Ah, now THAT makes sense. And it could be just as simple as that, not wanting to go home ... but there could be another level to that statement. There is a reason you do not want to "go home", and that reason reflects a conflict within self which reaches far more deeply than the surface of the statement. Know what I mean? IP: Logged |

I DO know what you mean, Ra, and thank you for putting it like that! You know, Vacation = very little responsibility, Home = total 24/7 responsibility without a break. Not surprised that I lose the tickets home, even though in the dreams I am always upset about losing them or being late to the airport for the flight. Upset that I didn't get home in time to be responsible for those who cannot take care of themselves. Upset because I'm shirking my responsibility even if it may not be my fault. IP: Logged |

Pixie, you are an angel! If I was nearer to you, (well, it's really only about 800 miles or so I think) I would take you up on your offer! My son is 9, and now that he's a old enough to take care of most of his own needs, he can go see his grandma for a few hours to give Mom a break. But my mother is confined to a wheelchair in an assisted-living facility (HE actually looks after HER, not the other way around!), and recently she broke her ankle, so she's in a nursing home flat on her back for a month, which equals no breaks for 'Zala. Babysitters are so hard to find around here.... But pix, thanks for the thought, you have such a gigantic heart! Ra ~ New Brighton is a suburb of Minnneapolis/St Paul, I have no idea where Park Rapids is -- but I've only been here for 8 years and haven't seen much of the state yet.... Thank you both for your help and exciting offers! 'zala IP: Logged |
