I am actually growing my hair again, but it is curly, so it takes a long time to see progress.. although it is considered long, it isn't LONG....
Anyway...
I had a dream that I was in this room, with this loom-like contraption that seemed to me like a 'kite'.... if that makes sense. but it is a dream after all, it seemed to make sense..
These women wanted me to wrap my hair around the contraption.. there was a reason for it.. but I don't know what...
So I laid down upon these padded ornamentally decorated boards, I was prone, and they took my hair and wrapped it all around the loom.. I was sort of trapped, yet my hair was so long, I could still move... I untangled parts of my hair, and I felt it tugging as I did it, as if it would come out. I had most of a section of hair out of the loom when I woke up. But I was still mostly entangled.
I seriously have no clue.. other than the obvious symbolism of being trapped, or caught up.... still, I got the feeling and likened it to a kite.. although I don't know why.. ( The hair wound up like a kite string perhaps?)
The cloth decorating the board was very elaborate, and seemed asian like... like a silk kimono....
There was also the feeling of a ritual....

Ra, I am soooooo lost .. usually I can sort of figure my dreams out, at least the feeling....

Do my dreams still give you headaches to interpret?????

Can't sleep....
Um.. the other day, a person I know from work dreampt about me.
We get along fine.. joke together but we aren't friends outside of work.. although I like her and if we were ever somewhere, I would totally buy her a beer or whatever....
Anyway, she giggled everytime she saw me, so finally told me why....
She said she had a dream ( on the night of the full moon last week) that I stole her husband. She said He approached her and said he was in love with someone else, and was leaving her and the kids .. and it was ME!!!
Keep in mind, I have never met her husband, nor have I any intention of 'stealing' him, I have enough of my own problems.. lol..
She doesn't feel any animosity toward me, I know if we were out, she'd buy me a beer too ( If I liked beer )

What could this indicate? Just some random thing? Other than giving me a laugh, because everytime I see her, I tell her to "*wink wink* say Hi to her husband for me..."

You gotta stop thinking about that pic that BlueRoamer posted! Maybe one of your kids is gonna put gum in your hair! J/K! The second one? Maybe your co-worker is having negetive thoughts about her hubby. And since you omit such sexuality maybe she picked up on it, and used you as a scape goat in her dream. I don't know Pix, some of your posts make me wanna go play jake the snake w/hubby!

I think Philbird pretty much nailed that one. Although the co-worker's thoughts need not be negative towards her husband. This type of dream classically occurs when the wife feels that the husband's attention is elsewhere. She may feel left out of some part of his life, or she may not be getting the attention she needs because he is focused on something else (not necessarily another woman). So this dream is like a caution sign, really, because it usually occurs before anything serious happens in waking life ... but it does signify the beginning of a build-up.

Pixie, I'll have to give your dream some thought ... no headaches.

How about this ...

Being "trapped" or "caught up" is definately part of it. Oftentimes hair can symbolize thought projections, often unconscious, and I think this may be the case here, though not totally of an unconscious nature.

This dream seems to reflect a conflict within, of a desire for freedom (kite) vs. "being trapped". Certain thoughts you project (hair) are in need of order (loom), they need to be brought back in line with the complex, complete, beautiful pattern upon which your life is based (ornamentally decorated boards). Occurring here is a transition to, or connection with, inner instinctual and/or spiritual energies, a bridging of the gap betwen the conscious and unconscious (ritual feeling).

Have some of your thoughts/situations recently been "tangled"? Trying to untangle them?

Ra, you make me smile.

I am turning all this energy outward, positively.
I have been battering the boards here with this immense 'transitional' energy... knowing it is here, seeing it, and not having a manifestation.
Luckily for me, something clicked, and my plans are becoming ordered.
I spent yesterday painting and planning, and tonight I am buying a better printer.
I have card stock and watercolours.
I am registering my business again... ( I had a name in '99, not sure if it is even valid, as I did nothing with it.. wrong time)
I have found an outlet for my talents, *writing, painting/mixed media art/inspirational messages/goodwill*
and well.. Here I go.
I have humble aspirations, I just want to be happy and complete. Already I envisioned telling people "what I do for a living" and I liked the potential answer finally.
My Capricorn Moon takes great stock in pride, as do all my fixed signs... and my chart speaks of creativity and artistic leanings, and I have always been 'an artist'... so it is time.
Thanks for letting me share.
Wish Me Luck.

Cool! Pix and Ra, look what I found!
"Hair has been a sacred and spiritual symbol throughout history. It was the secret strength of Sampson in a biblical story.Hair carries an aura of sexual virility, seduction and health. White hair denotes wisdom and age."

Hmmm, one time I got my hair tangled in a mini fan. Wander what that means. (in real life!)

Funny!
No matter where I go or what I do, sexuality follows me.
I am not complaining.. in fact, I think I will go put that to practise!

There go the life's themes!

Hey Pixie, I read somewhere that dreaming of hair represented sexuality and sensuality and I always used to dream of it often when I was younger. My sister used to hear me calling out "mmm youve got lovely hair". I still love long hair now on men and women - hope youre well and happy xxxx

Hee hee....
Like I said...
I dreamt of a walrus before, and somehow that was sexual!
*well, there ARE those tusks....

I wonder what dreaming of being a very acrobatic, flexible superhero implies?
Say the word acrobat without thinking of sex, I dare you!
That was my dream yesterday's nap....
*LOVE nap dreams!

Maybe I will post something random, like a kiwi fruit and *I was going to say popsicle, but never mind, .* something else un-sexual.... and then someone will tell me it is sexual in nature.
I promise!! I am NOT repressed!
I am a dynamo!
*I don't have to tell you, Sue

I don't know... for some reason, I can't get that image of the walrus in the swimming pool out of my mind! I think about it a lot!
How about a "large" soul being traped in it's own enviornment. The walrus being a water dweller trapped in a pool that is probably too small for it. It needs to have room to grow? Now I'm sad!

oh, pumpkin pie, don't be sad!
It was a very playful and happy walrus!
He was in a HUGE lake sized pool!
He had an empty dish detergent container, and he loved it.
He communicated .... the couple loved him.

Yes, that was a wierd dream.. I'll find it.

Still can't figure it out.
*reflects to herself that her chart is water heavy, and her soul is laden, and she feels something large and big looming, and that she needs more than how she is confined now*
BUT.. is working on it actively, instead of wandering and wondering.

Why are you sad for my walrus?
Of all the things i want to bring to the world, a sad person is the last on the list.
here's a kiss for you.....

Since I thought about the dream so often, I started to relate the walrus to you. You big soul!

Oddly enough, that dream has popped into my mind on occasion. I couldn't get a good feel for it, as I remember. I'll have to go back and re-read it.
