Hey, was curious about a dream. The over all feeling of the dream was intrigue. First there was a earthquake, but I was an impervious observer. That wasn't really the focal point. After the earthquake, there was much repair to be done to the area, supervised by my "boss" (who lives in CA. and not AZ.) He and I were just matter of factly assessing the damages of an area, but not the complex I manage. Anyway, what seems to have intrigued me was the destruction of half of a fireplace. Half of it was burning with a regular fire, and the other half was being rained on. It was a large fireplace. There was a comforter in the fireplace in the fire, but not catching fire because of the puddles of water. The comforter was red with some white pattern dots on it. I pulled it out but it was nether wet or burnt. End of dream. I was an observer in the dream. Any comments?IP: Logged |

I'm sorry I don't have any thoughts baby bird. Ra has been busy, but I'm sure if he has an idea, when he comes back, he will give it some thought.IP: Logged |

Ohhhhh, my! Last night I dreampt about fluffy, furry animals! Lots of bunnies! Even the alligator and the snake were fuzzy! The alligator was made of beads. (Don't ask how that can be, it was a dream!) We were in a large field of waist high, ummmm grass? The bunnies had all sorts of geometrical shapes of color in their fur. I was actually participating in this dream, holding the critters and all! Can smelling burning Bay leaves make you hallucinate? Cause that's what I burned before I went to bed. It smells just like marijuana! (For purification) No Cheech or Chong or Don Juan showed up... IP: Logged |

Thanks Pixie Hello Philbird I'm finally back. Sorry about the delay. A fireplace generally symbolizes the heart of the home or family. The fire and rain both present within it is interesting ... these are both symbols of purification, renewal, and transformation, as well as release ... one by "destructive" or consuming energies (fire), and the other by a more gentle cleansing or growth (rain), perhaps involving emotional or unconscious energies (water/puddles). So when we put these together - fireplace, fire, rain/water - it would appear that some very important aspect of the home life is undergoing a change, a cleansing, a purification, and that this change involves both "fire and water", or "destructive" forces as well as growth or renewing energies, mental as well as emotional. But this activity seems somewhat removed from you, though connected in some way. You are an "impervious observer" of an upheaval of some sort (earthquake) that does not involve your immediate surroundings (not the complex you manage) ... and your "comfort" (comforter) is apparently unaffected, despite the "fire and water" situation. I'm not sure about the red and white colours of the comforter yet, but it surely means something ... masculine (red)/feminine (white) union or conflict ... love/newness ... active/passive ... ? Does any of this make sense?

Animals often represent some aspect of ourselves or energies/material within the unconscious. This dream could suggest that there are things going on in your life and/or in your mind, both good and bad, pleasant and fearful, which you feel pretty much in control of (handling animals/geometric shapes) ... which makes even the 'dangerous', anxiety-causing things managable (fuzzy snakes and gators/alligator made of beads). What do you think?

WOW! I can probably sum it all up by saying my son will be leaving on the 17th of June. I'm very saddened by this and I'm not sure when I will see him again. Water and air... I do feel like something is waiting for me around the corner, something good. As far as him going home, I do have concerns about how his step mother is going to trear him. I do know if she treats him poorly, my ex will divorce her. He has made this very clear, so in a way, maybe I am comforted by his intentions. Thanks Ra!IP: Logged |
