last night i dreamed i bought a package of soap, it was suppose to be antibacterial/deoderant soap.
i liked the package it was gauzy blue paper with little black circle buttons of velcro. i opened it indulging but when i went to smell it , it had no smell i was disapointed and wanted to go back into the store and buy some soap that was more fragrant but my husband had already drove away and i didnt want to inconvience him to turn around. i thought ill buy some later/next time.
the next thing i recall is i was in a thrift store walking out of it and i saw on my right a youkalaylee(sp?) under a broken organ/piano with cobwebs on it , i thought "my hubby would like that and its in good shape cool" i squatted down and went thru the cobwebs and grabbed it.
then i woke up.
any ideas?

Hello Devilfish

I don't know if this applies in your case, and if it doesn't I'll look at the dream again from a different perspective, but I can't help but to notice that nearly all the symbols in this dream can be interpretted as sexual in nature. So, let's briefly explore this possibility and see if we find anything.

Soap is a symbol for cleansing, but it seems that the fragrance of it is the focal point, while the cleansing is a more genral description of the issue as a whole. So this dream could suggest that there is some issue, perhaps sexual, that you want to see 'cleaned up', cleansed, refreshed, because it has become dull and "disappointing" ... there is no stimulation of the senses in it (soap has no smell), and sensory, or "sensual stimulation" is what you want (want to buy more fragrant soap). But you will have to wait until "next time" because your husband had already driven off, he left too soon, prematurely - know what I mean?

The last scene seems to sum it up ... musical instruments often indicate creative energies or sensuality/romance, and just as often they can symbolize the sexual organs, which is precisely what you have descibed - a "broken organ", with cobwebs. And a ukulele, in this context, makes an appropriate phallic symbol. You are a practical person (thrift store) and don't expect anything fantastic or miraculous, so a ukulele (a small guitar) "in good shape" is much better than a cobweb-covered "broken organ". I have a feeling you would like the ukulele more than even your hubby.

Does that make any sense?

this is it.
its not physical , that is very well& goes the distance
but
im struggling right now and long for more emotion/tenderness before/during/after
thank you for helping me acknowledge that.

That makes sense. So, instead of anything physical, this is emotional. Your husband driving off in the dream is not about anything being 'premature', but rather a lack of emotional closeness, or less than what you would like. And the instruments are not about physical 'instruments' but are about making music.

Thank you for your feedback, Devilfish, that helps me to understand the symbology better (I'm always learning) ... and thank you for sharing your dream.
