Sorry for the "rude" title but I knew it would grab your attention.
Last night I had a dream where condoms appeared in it-I am baffled as to why.In it I was in my bedroom when I noticed a pack of condoms lying on my floor and one was out but not used. So I picked it up and started playing with it ( NOT getting ready to put it on for some action). While I was playing with it, I looked out of my window and saw people walking/playing outside on the road and also noticed dogs. I am trying to understand why there were condoms in my dream. I think it symbolises protection of some sort. ( somehow I don't think it has anything to do with sex). I think it is telling me to be aware and protect myself against certain people but the thing is I don't know who or why.
Or it could be my attitude towards sex. What do you guys think? IP: Logged |

Hello Yang  I suppose the standard answer (for a reason) is that it symbolizes emotional protection of some kind. In the dream you are playing with it which could suggest that you are toying with an idea or a thought concerning your emotional barriers. It's almost as if you are trying to decide whether or not you are going to need it, or what you are going to do with it, if anything ... are you going to put up an emotional barrier, are you going to limit someone, maybe yourself. Sorry Ra but that doesn't seem to strike a chord!You mentioned that it might be an emotional protection. But a condom is a physical protection, so how could that tranlate into what you say about emotional?

It has to do with blockages/barriers connected with sexual/left-brain/feminine/emotional energies. That does seem a bit of a stretch, but it seems to often work out that way, unless the dream is being a bit more literal ... so perhaps this is the case. If so, then you have answered it already, your attitude towards sex. I think it is just that simple. There may be a few layers to it, but I think that is probably the basic meaning. Would you agree?
