last night i had this dream that i had a snake it was my pet and i was crazy about it i washed the snake and i think it was black with yellow then after a while it layed half under my bed with its head under the bed and suddenly turned around and bit me on the left hand on my palm under my thumb i could see its teeth and i remember it was like slow motion after it bit me and i ran to the bathroom trying to get a bandage and then i ran outside and i asked the nanny to call the doctor which is a friend of ours and when i got outside he lived where our neighbours do and he climbed over a fence and then asked me what type of snake it was and i told him a cobra and after that dream i dreamed about a supermarket and a dinner table and all woman sitting around it and i had a huge fight but i said what i wanted to even though i kinda started crying

today i spoke to my mother and i told her about the dream and how the snake looked she said that it was an indian cobra symbolic in the hindu religion i dont get this i hate snakes how did i know in my dream that was a cobra? the night after this dream i dreamed that i was with someone i dont know in a strange place like a class room it looked like spain and then i was horrified of this person i knew over the internet he was once my friend but he had such a hold over me it was crazy he haunted me and i tried to get away i remember running down stairs it didnt help i couldnt see what he looked like but he was everywhere and i was scared to death IP: Logged |

Hello GG I seem to have skipped the first dream in this topic ... I'll reprint it and have a look today. The last one ... someone you know, but who you do not often see, is causing you a great deal of anxiety. This person is probably someone who is very familiar with your life, perhaps even having some control over it, and you feel as if you can do nothing without it being known to him. Is this true? Okay, the first dream ...Freud would have had a field day with this one. From a Freudian perspective, which could have some validity here (I don't usually go along with him), the dream could indicate an increase in sexual energies within you, and perhaps conflict because of it, like you're not sure what to do about it. From my usual perspective, the snake dream suggests that you have embraced the energies of the snake (whatever it is ... sexual, healing, deception, transition/change, ...), that you are trying to transform old energies/patterns into something new (wash snake/black-yellow) and it seems as if doing this had "wounded" some aspect of your feminine/receptive/emotional nature (left hand). This leads into the next little dream which also suggests issues with you feminine aspects, particularly your emotions. It could be indicated that these issues stem from a very judgemental female/nurturer in your life (women around dinner table), possibly your mother, and that you are trying to assert yourself against her emotional attacks, to break away from that old pattern.
