If I have dream that is symbolic or the scenery is more sureal than everyday life I try to interpret the dream in a way that I am everything. Eg If there is a house is it solid of in need of repair? I then apply those meanings to me. So what attributes do these friends have and if so do they apply in any way to you? What other scenery is in the dreams?

The dreams could be prophetic. I believe that we all dream the future much more than we realise. I think de ja vu feelings come from dreams that we perhaps have not remembered properly. I have been trying to work out how to tell if a dream is prophetic or not.All my prophtic dreams appear to be everyday life looking. The one dream that I had that I knew was probably prophetic was about my dog. I had to put her to sleep a couple of months ago. I dreamt about four years ago that she would be in a lot of pain and I would have to rush her to the vet. That is exactly what happened. When I had the dream it had a far away feel to it so I knew it would not happen for years. Dreams that are going to happen soon are clearer and don't have that far away feel. But I am still not sure which are prophetic or not. Someone posted an interesting way to tell if dreams are prophetic in the prophetic dreams thread.

I have rambled on so the only advice I can give you is I hope you keep a dream journal and keep writing them down, you will figure it out.

It could be that something about a present situation/issue is hooking into your past experience. Perhaps there is something happening that is bringing up some old feelings?

Maybe there is some sort of old pattern repeating itself?

Or, as Cathy stated, maybe the friends represent aspects of self, maybe 'old' ones, in some way?

It is difficult to say without any context or details.

Does any of this help? Can you make any associations?

In the first dream it was my two friends I haven't seen or heard from in months. which Ill call gem and sag (I call them this cause I dont wanna name names). Gem had her boyfriend w/ her and we were all having fun in those balls that little kids play in @ Chuckie Cheese's

In the next dream, there was a house party at what seemed like my house. My other friend I call sag #2 was there and so my love interest...I haven't seen these ppl in a WHILE

In the third dream there's these two guys friends I haven't seen in 3 years.
I'll call them cappy and scorp.(Well actually I did run into cappy back in february).Well, Ive always remembered them both as being goofballs. I always laughed when I was around both of them. And that's exactly what they were, goofy...except we were all in my 11th grade anatomy class (I used to go to an all-girls school) . The teacher was p*ssed . Then they took me to some talent show in the middle of the city.It was weird..

The fourth dream was w/ another friend I also haven't seen in 3 yrs. I'll call him aqua. In the dream, I ran into aqua @ the market. He told me he was going to a prom?? He also said he was throwning an afterparty and wanted me to come and that's all I remember.
