I had a dream several nights ago...tried to post it but due to techical difficulties it didn't go. But anyway, had a dream where I was fussing at my dad (who is deceased,but alive it seems in the dream) I can't remeber specifically why I was telling him to stop acting like an @ss,but I had someone for him to meet-- My new love. well they met and shook hands in the dream then I woke up. any interpretations possible here? Thanks  ------------------

Also I had dream before this one that really startled me. I had fallen asleep briefly on the couch and I had dreamed first as if I was watching it and second participating it. But I saw my new love in a hospital bed with a chest tube and I was hold his hand. as soon as I was next to the bed holding his hand I woke up with a start and it really bothered me. so was curious about this one as well.------------------

Welcome, Celticfyre (great name)The first dream seems to be about acceptance, maybe a need for your new love to be accepted by your family. Although this could be a reflection of self, some sort of inner need or desire for acceptance. Looks like your dad doesn't have any problems with him.  About the second dream ... Do you have any particular fear about losing your new love? Is there something about his confidence (or some other masculine aspect) that needs healing?  IP: Logged |

I'm not sure about confidence..he seems to have that..I know he feels guilty when he cannot devote as much time to me when his priority has to be is soon to be 12 year old daughter (as it should be). I was more concerned form a more literal sense like a foreshadowing for health or injury he is a firefighter and he smokes (i have more concerns about the smoking than the other) So i wonder if itis my subconcious anxiety coming through? Thanks ------------------
