I have been dreaming a lot about a baby in my basement. Lastnight this baby was being born in my basement and it had spinal-bifita. Other dreams it is a baby with a large head that I find mummified and hidden in the walls. Sometimes I find a baby blanket in the corner and I know it belongs to the baby! (It is a female child)

What the bloody hell is this about?

I think something new (a baby) is growing inside of you, it may be a new feeling or you may look at certain things in a different way now, something inside of you has changed; consciously or not, you are hiding from it (a baby in the basement, hidden in the walls) you are trying to bury it (mummified) and yet it reminds you of itself (you find a baby blanket and you know it belongs to the baby, the baby is mummified not decomposed). I am sure ‘this something new’ scares you (spinal-bifita, large head) that’s why you are trying to ignore it and be not aware of it.

A mummified baby may also mean something from your past that you still cannot forget.

Does it make any sense to you?

Makes some sense to me...things here are in transistion...I cannot help but to think that this has something to do with my soon to be ex and what he is hiding from me...after all...the dreams all have him in them in one way or another.

As a side note...
I was coming out of the basement this morning (doing laundry) I fell going up the steps and hit my head hard enough to pass out for a few minutes. Although I am pretty banged up I am fine. Oh, and the lights down there will not work when I enter the basement! They ficker and then go out, I have changed the bulbs and had the wiring checked. They stay on for everyone else but not me.

WEIRD!

Thanks Peri!

RA? Any thoughts?

Peri, great thoughts! Have you done this before?

Irish, you didn't mention your future ex at first, so you are probably right, and it connects somehow with what Peri said.

How do you feel about this baby when you are dreaming?

On a slightly different note, my inner voice (which has been very silent lately) seems to have something to say, but I'm not sure what it means ...

It says, very simply, "As it was then, so it is now." I've tried to get more information or clarification, but that is the only message, mechanically repeated. Does it mean anything to you? What is your first thought or reaction?

Thanks Ra

The only dreams I interpreted were my own it just came to me when I started having prophetic dreams.
I feel awkward while interpreting other peoples' dreams because every person has their own set of symbols and associations but sometimes the meaning of their dream is so obvious to me that I can't help but try to interpret it!

RA-

Your inner voice is saying what my inner voice has been saying. I got more clarity on this with a dream that I had on Monday night. (As the thing is VERY long with lots of symbols I will not post it here)

I was focusing on the baby when I should have been focusing on the other people in the dreams and what they were doing. The relationship that my future ex and I had at the begining of our relationship has been turned toward his fiancee. She has filled my shoes and all the things that are happening to her happened to me. The future ex, his family and friends have not changed!

The relationship between myself and the guy who is my friend (remember him from past posts?) is the same as it always has been. There will be some changes with us but as it stands right now it is the same as it has always been.

I think that these dreams are also to warn me that I cannot trust the future ex. He has always hidden things from me and will continue to do so. Again, "As it was then, so it is now"

I will finish my thought on this later...any more ideas?....should I be looking at something else?

How are you Irish? I didn't intend to abandon this string. They get away from me sometimes.

As it was then, so it is now ... I can see how that could apply to the present life, but my feeling with the statement is of past lives. This is karmic. I suppose you already know that, so maybe it is just a reminder, food for thought. I also get the unsettling feeling that there is something literal about the baby. Most of the meaning is symbolic, no doubt, but I feel like there is something else.

Any thoughts, or feelings?

I think you are on the money with this one! However, I cannot post all of it here....I will e-mail you some more of this since there have been more dreams.

Thanks and I will talk to you soon!
