 I had such a scrumptious dream last night about my ex-fiance, and I've had several of him lately, in the past year. In the dream, we are so happy together......he is healthy, really good-looking, and is intelligent, confident and smart. We really get along great, it is as if we are meant to be together. We have a really great time, laugh, and cuddle and stuff. I'm not sure what the purpose of the dream is.  In real life, we could never be together. We both come from different backgrounds - his family life had no stability while he was growing up. He is a stoner (marijuana user) and I don't like or use drugs. He has a lot of issues, like emotions, and he is not motivated nor ambitious. I have grown to be a different person than I was when we were together. We have different paths; we are just different people. Well I feel better sharing, wondering if others have dreams about people they can't be with in real life, but in the dreams it's like heaven? Hello Nephthys  I would say that the dream is about the feelings ... "We really get along great, it is as if we are meant to be together. We have a really great time, laugh, and cuddle and stuff." ... and not about any future relationship with him. Often we have dreams like this when we are in need of those feelings, if they are lacking or absent in our lives. Does that make sense to you? If not, I'm sure there is another way of looking at it. Yes, it makes sense.I also think that perhaps I have resolved to appreciate the person he is.........even though we are totally different and couldn't be together in this life. (Like I respect him as an individual.) IP: Logged |
