Here is the story:

For the past 6 years, I have been having consistent dreams about a man who I have never met in my life. These dreams consist mostly of him and I just sitting together, talking and discussing, looking at eachother, or laughing together... but very intensely connecting.

When he first came to my dreams.. he appeared dressed in white, standing on a ladder reaching into the sky. He was low to the ground (to where I was) but still on the ladder. He asked me "Would you like to climb higher with me now?" I felt saddness and replied "No, I have to stay down here for now." (I awoke angry with myself for saying that, though I feel I would not have said it if it was supposed to be any different.)(This was 6 years ago, also)

After this dream, he came back. And keeps coming back. His eyes are the most vivid to me. Deep brown eyes.. he appears to be of native american descent.

I have had many many dreams, or "visits" from him. Lately, say within the past 6 months or so, I am now getting Visions of him. And each visit is becoming more profound, my spirit seems to explode with happiness with each visit.

The thing that confuses me the most is that - I feel this incredible DEEP LOVE for him. I feel complete with him.

But I am not even sure if this is all not just the product of an active imagination. Honestly, what I feel from this, is that this man is my Twin.

I am very confused about this though. Has anyone ever experienced dreaming about someone for so long and then meet them sometime in their lives? Is he maybe in the astral, visiting me? Or is this all my imagination? I really hope that it isn't imagination, but I suppose I would have to deal with it if that turns out to be True.

I know this situation may sound a bit strange.. but I feel that someone here may hold an answer for me.

It is hard to know whether someone in a dream is a spirit guide or not but I tend to agree with BRM. I had a dream once where I was sitting in a group of people and a man was holding me, he was behind me so I could not see his face. This dream happened when I was at a sressful point in my life. I believe he is some sort of spirit guide but then you never know. I have dreamt of many things that have eventually happened but cannot tell at the time of the dream if they are just dreams or they are events that will happen. Maybe he is in your future and if the dreams are increasing about him then by my estimation he will be with you soon, maybe a year or two if the dream is a propetic one or if he is a spirit guide he has always been with you

Very interesting experience. I would say that a Twin is a guide, whether in the physical or otherwise, and that an active imagination should be embraced and used like a tool so that you can at least keep some aspect of your "lines of communication" open, because in my opinion, a purposeful imagination, one with intent, creates things. You know what I mean?
