i had a dream last night where i was bitten by a snake...it went something like this

Me and two other men where journeying to the centre of our land, where the soil was more fertile to plant some seeds. We came to a river, it didnt look shallow and the other men crossed it easily however, i was a bit scared and kind of threw myself into the river. As i pulled myself to my feet a brown/golden snake came out of the water and bit me. It didnt hurt, but i was aware that i would die soon, especially if i got hysterical (venom in the blood moves faster when the victim is moving fast and scared from the heart pumping faster etc). I stepped on the snake and that killed it.

I have always associated snakes with treacherous friends but i wondered if there was any other meaning to this dream?? thanx

Hello Silverdragon, welcome

Sounds almost like a past-life memory ... do you think that's possible, or do you feel like the dream is more symbolic? (it certainly could be)

It could be a memory...it was very vivid and the emotions that i felt were very strong, however i dont know much about any of my past lives. I do feel as though it may be more symbolic however...the snake especially...can you help at all?

hey Ra

Silverdragon

Let me ask you how old are you?

If you are very young then probably you've come very close to adulthood and have begun the world (the river) which may scare you to some extent 'i was a bit scared and kind of threw myself into the river'

golden snake: in my opinion snakes are either our fears or our enemies (unless you are a snakes lover) since your snake was golden (which is a noble colour) I think some (new) things may scare you but it is quite natural for a young girl, it is not a 'bad' thing that scares you.

' It didnt hurt, but i was aware that i would die soon, especially if i got hysterical '

This (new) something scared you but did not do any harm (it didnt hurt) but you knew if you did not overcome your fears (if i got hysterical) you might lose it or some part of you which can also be your confidence or positive thiking (i would die soon)

I stepped on the snake and that killed it bravo you did it!

If you are an adult then your dream may refer to anything new and/or challening in your life. e.g. your (new) relationship, marriage, even exams or hobby etc.

I think it is a good dream becase it shows you've overcome your fears

Does it make any sense to you?
