I keep having this repeating dream and I've had it for a few years now. I'm taking care of something very small, though the object always changes with each dream, it's usually an animal of some sort. I'm always caring for this small creature and protecting it from all kinds of danger. A lot of the time I'm running away from something that will do it harm, but what I'm running from is not clear either. In the last dream I had, I was caring for a small piglet. I was running as fast as I could but I kept dropping her and everytime I picked her up again she would disinegrate. Eventually the piglet withered away to nothing. These dreams leave me with a deepseated sadness, a sense of loss I've never felt before. I'm having a hard time understanding the depth of these dreams. IP: Logged |

Seems you've been trying to save what's left of your love/respect etc you once felt for someone.There is not much of it left though ( I'm taking care of something very small) and yet it leaves you with a deepseated sadness and a sense of loss you've never felt before. Did someone disappoint you so badly in the past that you still cannot get over it (and are still trying to mend/justify (protect) it)?

Hello scorpbaby  Great thoughts Peri. Some other thoughts ... What is it that you so much fear losing? Or maybe when you have this dream it indicates that you have a burden of responsibility at that time? Or are you concerned that you cannot handle a current situation/issue?  IP: Logged |
