But not necessarily a sad or scary one:I dreamed that I was back to my grandparents' yard, standing under an old mango tree (the tree exists and I have great childhood memories of it, and summer times spent at my grandparents then). I'm lamenting the fact that since my grandparents death (especially my grandmother), the tree had died away, only producing ugly, little mangoes instead of the juicy ones of my childhood. It's all dark and there is a man there with me. I don't recognize him or his face but he is there along with another person that seems to be a child. So as I'm lamenting, the ugly fruits, the man reaches out and takes one for me and says that I'm wrong, there are nice mangoes out there too. The one he hands out to me is huge and bursting with juice. He takes another one. meanwhile, nice juicy fruits start falling from the mangoe tree as well; and I discover other ones hidden between the huge roots. He then takes one of the ugly little mangoes which had dried, ugly overgrowth all over them and pulls these little things. He hand them to me and says, see: don't be afraid of the ugly stuff on them, they're just the same liquid that runs through the tree trunk turned dry and hard, nothing much. I remember waking up with a feeling of deep happiness, and calm after this dream. IP: Logged |

Hello cappy What a great dream. This seems to be a healing or a turning-point type of dream. It seems to reassure you that although your grandparents have passed, the life which flows through the veins of the family tree continues. In fact, the dream feels like a message, that your grandparents (especially your grandmother) are still here, with you and your family; that though they may have physically died, they continue in life, they continue in you. I am sure they enjoy watching their "fruit" thrive. Thank you for sharing your dream. What a wonderful message and feeling to receive. IP: Logged |

Thanks very much Ra for your interpretation. I think that is what the dream is about as you said. At first I thought that it had some sexual undertones until my brother (who was visiting for the holidays) said that he had the same dream (the tree and flowers burgeoining) and i was like...wow!! It gave me the chills but I'm glad both he and I received this beautiful message.IP: Logged |
