I had a dream about three months ago

In real life back in 2000 I unfortunately got caught up in someone elses problems. There was a man that was not a very nice character. His wife took out a restraining order against him. He then became a bit fixated on me and I also took out a restraining order. He broke into his wife's house and was sent to gaol for this. I did not even know them very well.

In the dream-

He was squatted down at my next door neighbours house. I was going inside my front door and I heard him say "hello Cathy"

I looked at him and said, did you like gaol did you? meaning that if he came near me I would have him sent back to gaol. I unlocked my door and went inside.

In real life- about a week ago I was in the next city where I work (?next door). I was walking out of a shop and there he was. I felt that I had to say something to him , I said "your out of gaol??" Yes I know i that was not polite but this man is not a nice person. He did not answer me (he did not answer me in the dream either).I think the dream was a warning.

Yeah, it looks like your subconscious mind was aware of the upcoming event, so maybe you were kind of being prepared.

How did you feel when you saw/spoke to him? Do you think you would have felt differently had you not dreamt about an encounter with him?

This guy was bad news, I always new that and his poor wife, that's another story.

I think the dream prepared me to be assertive or maybe more than assertive. He is someone that will bulldoze his way into anyone's life. I am grateful for the dream
