Recently, I've been having dreams about this place. The dreams have really nothing to do with each other cuz the storyline for each is different but the place is always the same. It is a beach....on the right of it, it's like an inclosed bay with rocks peaking out. On the left it opens out to an ocean or a lake. The place is always the same, but the water is usually different. Once the waves were crazy and rough the other calmer. But it's never totally calm. It's not a tropical place, more like cool and wintery. The water sometimes light blue, sometimes dark, almost black but always clean and crisp. Last nite there was snow near the edges and i was walking bare feet but didnt feel the cold. I'm always comfortabe and at peace at this dream beach. I wonder if it could be an actual place here on earth that I'm recalling from my previous life, cuz I know I've never visited this beach in this one ;-) Or maybe it's a beach from the other side???IP: Logged |

Hello MoonChild, Welcome to Lindaland. I'm leaning towards a beach from the other side - your inside. Symbolically, the beach is where our conscious, aware selves (land) meet energies emanating from the unconscious (water) or collective unconscious (ocean). These energies could be in the form of incoming information, emotions, feelings, knowledge, understanding ... something unknown/unaware becoming known/aware. And the state of the water can indicate the reaction we have to this incoming unconscious material on an emotional level (rough, calm, etc), how we feel about what is happening. So, in general, I would say that your dream beach represents your subconscious and reflects how life's circumstance is affecting you. I'm always comfortable and at peace at this dream beach. ... that's a good thing, for sure! What do you think? IP: Logged | |
