I just fell asleep about a half hour ago. This nightmare only lasted about 5-10 minutes.I had the weirdest sensation,I felt I was half asleep half awake,or I was having some kind of out of body experience or past life experience.Just out of nowhere I felt this really strong evil vibe (half awake) and it is infultrating my falling asleep. It is a big man standing over me,choking me by the throat and holding me down, getting ready to rape me.I started kicking and throwing my arms around(feeling like I Am doing this while sleeping)and the man held me down tighter so I couldnt breathe.I could feel my inner self trying to break out of the nightmare (I am able to wake out of dreams somehow if need be) and finally I pushed him hard and I woke up throwing my arms and legs in the air, gasping for air like I was being suffocated.I also noticed a strong, almost painful pumping in my third eye.I have never experienced anything to this extent and right now I am feeling very afraid to go back to sleep.I used to have this dream when I was a little girl(I havent in a long time since tonight),the man holding me down, choking me,I know he is going to rape me,the only colors in the dream are black with the outline of the man being a dark red.I would fall asleep, this dream would happen,I would go back to sleep even in a different position, and I would keep going back to that same nightmare.I have never known for sure, but I felt I may have been abused by someone when I was younger;I feel this might be related?Any responses would be very appreciated.PeaceLove&Light to you Eliza Libra/Scorpio/AquariusIP: Logged |

Hello Eliza It sounds like you have a pretty good understanding of what's going on, at least to some degree. There is nothing to fear by sleeping. I mean, you will not be physically harmed. Much of the sensation you describe is common to those who inadvertently wake up a little consciously before the body is ready. But it could be that your fear is indeed linked to some childhood experience, or maybe even past-life. Perhaps your dreams will begin to reveal an answer. Say a little prayer or affirmation before you doze off, requesting love and light and positive images to fill your dreams. Light to you. IP: Logged |

Being choked and restrained could also be associated with a fear of losing control. Of course, we all like to be in control of ourselves and our lifes to a certain degree. ------------------ http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/6562/pchan_stockton.html IP: Logged | |
