Quite a few times now when I've been falling asleep I'm suddenly jolted awake by intense 'visions'. One was quite disturbing - it was of a cow being slaughtered by several men, it had fear in its eyes and the sound of it's cries was horrible! It seemed to be occuring in a foreign country, but I can't say for sure. It was a split-second image (with sound) but very intense.

Another one was of a white horse running down a path in a forest, and as it turned a corner I felt that it wanted me to follow it.

And the most recent was of either a stone wall or a tablet with hieroglyphics on it. I was seeing it in close-up and I don't know what all the symbols were but one was the Aquarius glyph (which I posted about in another dream).

I also had a weird image present itself to me one morning... I wasn't asleep or anywhere near it, just lying there with my eyes closed and I suddenly 'saw' an old woman with a large diseased penis standing in the clearing of a forest... (turned out my boyfriend's cactus was in the room and the shape and colour of the penis was actually the cactus turned upside down)!
