I had another nightmare- and as I mentioned in another post, this is a very strange thing for me. Spider this time.. (I don't mind them in real life) they were flesh-coloured, fairly large and hairy. There were only two of them- scurrying about my new apartment and I didn't want to go to sleep in my bed, plus I was plagued by paranoid thoughts about more of them hiding in the walls. I've looked up some information about spiders in dreams but I couldn't find any consistent information (feminine power, one website said). Any thoughts? Thank you so much!

I think spiders represent your fears.

I agree with Peri. Seems like they represent fear or anxiety. Are you particularly anxious about something in your waking life? Are you afraid that there is more "stuff" to be anxious about, more than you can see at the moment?

Yes, this is spot-on. I have been feeling this odd, lingering anxiety in my waking life- not really directed at anything, and yet at everything. Thank you so much, you're all so helpful on this forum!

One thing that spiders do represent is creativity so perhaps you are dealing with some sort of creative issue and your fear in regards to it...?

Hi Whiterabbit,

I had to backtrack on your posts to get the story.

I wonder if the spiders represent the ex, the soul intruder? We all know that spiders by nature are vampires. And if your friends, in your last dream, threw you to the "wolves" maybe you are feeling unsafe from many angles.

This sounds like a dream I might have. When I have nightmares they are Always symbolic. I can usually interpret my bad dreams cuz I know what each thing represents for me. If I try to interpret for someone else I need to know how they feel & what they've been going through.

Is he still trying to contact you? Are you still afraid he can? How is the energy in your new apt? Do you live far from your last place?

I don't read books on dream interpretation. Some things may be 'universal' and I think each person has the clues e.g. My mom told me of a dream where she had a bright green snake wrapped around her ankles. It was pulling her slowly into the ground. For me that was an easy one. My dad was the green (jealous & posessive) snake. He, historically, tried to keep her tied down "barefoot & pregnant" never letting her have a fun or creative life of her own. He cheated on her, and treated her like sh*t.

Let us know how things are going. I hope it's just an anx dream.
