I was wondering if it is possible for a person to dream something so often that the univese has no choice but to make the dream come true so to speak. Would this be a form of manifastation?

Anyone can answer as this is a public forum but I would like your take on it RA. I had this disussion over the weekend with someone and I am now intrigued.

Thanks,
Irish

Hi Irish

I suppose, once the dream has come true, so to speak, that the question could be ... did you dream it because it was destined to occur, or did you dream it into existence? Was it a premonition, or a manifestation? Is there truly a difference?

This topic could become highly philosophical, and I suspect that the answers are very subjective.

We think of time as linear, but it is not. We think of concsiousness as indivisible, but it is not. We think in terms of cause and effect, when the opposite is equally true and effect can preceed cause. The factors we perceive as absolute are, in fact, variable.

These are things I am currently in the process of learning, through experience, for some reason I have yet to fathom. And it is just that, experience, which holds the key to our understanding and perspective, thus making for the highly subjective nature of these ideas.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks RA for getting back to me on this subject.

It is comforting to know that this also is of interest to someone else. It is truely something to ponder, much like what came first the chicken or the egg.

I want to believe that it is manifestation. You know, if you build it they will come. The problem I have with that is how specific does one need to be in order to maifest something. Does one need to visualize ALL the aspects or is there some room for the universe to play and mold.

As you have guessed, I am questioning this based on something that is going on in my life right now. It is an odd turn of events that are so logical from a manifestation aspect yet when looked at through the eyes of reason there is no reason at all, it just is. This is quite perplexing to me on this level as I always want tangible proof.

Any other thoughts?

Well, we can think in terms of manifestation even while holding a predestined-type view if we consider the possibility of parallel realities and our ability as conscious beings to attract a particular reality into experience. Does that make any sense?

Intently visualizing every possible detail is a good way to start. Some say to hold as much attention upon the image as you can for as long as possible, and others say to release it into the Universe, having faith that things will happen in their time.

I suppose it depends upon the person.

Personally, I am finding that an emotional detachment to the mental 'work in progress' is of great help, if not necessary. It's more than emotional though, it's more of a personality detachment. I haven't been experiencing what you are, but perhaps there are things in common.
