I have frequently visited what I call the 'Land of Rocks' in my dreams. I am sure many of you would be aware of this 'place' or dreamt about it.What I describe consists of huge rocks everywhere, that glow in a glorious, bright orange color. I have had this dream four times. In the first instance, I was in this land of rocks and a heavenly lyric was singing in the air. The second and third time I dreamt I was in Mars, where an archaelogical excavation was going on and sure enough, the place was full of bright, orange rocks. The fourth time, I dreamt I had done Time Travel and landed in the Land Of Rocks. All the dreams felt wonderful, but I still am not sure what they meant. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your patience raj. Looking at this symbolically, maybe these dreams indicate that you are exploring/uncovering (excavation) more of your spiritual nature (unearthly landscape), perhaps finding some balancing effect in this (orange). Maybe the rocks symbolize ideals, values, beliefs, or other aspects of yourself which have solidified/hardened - for better or worse - or have become "alien" to you and you are working on these issues in the unconscious/dream realm. Maybe, but I don't think so. I get the feeling that these dreams reflect something beyond simple symbology, although there may still be some connection with it. Have you ever thought of Mars as home, raj, as I do? Have you ever felt this?  IP: Logged |

Thank you Ra for your attention. It really took me a loooooong time before I posted in Linda Land again. May be the Universe destined it to be so, so that I post at the right time. Whatever could be the reason, I apologise for the delay.I haven't felt Mars as home at any point of my life. The other explanations you have offered does not resonate. I would get back to you once I get yet another dream on this theme. I have had three such dreams and there is no doubt there would be another one too. It would provide additional clues. Raj, I'm looking forward to any more dreams of this nature, but I am completely dissatisfied with missing on the others! It's like an unsolved puzzle. Can we let it lay like that? I sure would like to know what they mean, so perhaps we can continue with some more possibilities at some point.  IP: Logged |
