Last night I had a very bizarre dream, it started out very pleasant.
I was walking with a man ' I don't know in real life' and we were looking up at the constellations and talking about them, then we noticed an odd barrier that we couldn't walk through.
The man put his hand out and said it feels like some sort of plastic and you could just make out the clear outline.
Then we heard the sound of heavy equipment and We walked in the direction of the noise and came across an opening in the barrier, we saw what appeared to be military troops, busy building this wall. I suddenly felt very frightened and didn't want them to see us, on the other side of the clearing, I heard people yelling, they were civilians.
I knew in an instant that the man that I was withs mom was on the other side of the wall and he was terrified for her. At that moment a female officer spotted us and yelled in our direction, we took off running. Somehow I knew that the wall was going to be an artificial ice wall that would trap the civilians on the other side.
I would greatly appreciate an interpretation, this one chilled me, no pun intended.IP: Logged |

Hello Charlotte  I apologize for the delay, it's been a bit crazy around here, at home. I have not really gotten anywhere with your dream yet. I'm missing something about it and can't quite seem to pull it together. But we will. The ice wall seems to symbolize some sort of emotional barrier which is hindering you in some way, but beyond that, I'm not sure yet. Is this emotional barrier 'fear'? (frightened by troops) Have you been contemplating the higher order of things (star gazing)? Have you come up against something, or is something hindering you? Is it something about yourself? Is it external, like some authority or other force? (military) What are you afraid of? I'll be back as soon as I can.  IP: Logged |

I'm really not sure, Charlotte, but let's begin with this ...Perhaps you have recognized something that's "in the stars" (constellations), some issue concerning destiny, fate, karma, or some other spiritual matter. Perhaps with this recognition comes an awareness of a nearly invisible, inner barrier (odd, clear, plastic-like barrier) which exists between your physical and spiritual worlds, and it could be suggested that this barrier is emotional in nature (ice wall). This could be further hinted at by the feminine presence in the dream - the mother and the female officer. It could even be suggested that a female presence in your life (your mother, perhaps) has much to do with the creation of this internal emotional barrier. Whatever this barrier is, it seems that your new awareness of it may be causing you to feel separated from others (civilians trapped behind wall). I do not know in what respect, but there could be some kind of fear associated with this issue (felt frightened), perhaps of being revealed or exposed in some way. Wow! that is some interpretation and does strike a chord of truth.
Not sure if it really clarifies that dream for me, but it definitely helps. I still remember this dream as if it were yesterday.IP: Logged | |
