I haven't really been able to remember my dreams lately. Only bits and pieces of them and they've all been pretty depressing. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on last night's dream. It was full of red insects. There was a tubular spiderweb in a doorway that had two large scorpion/spider-like insects crawling around on it (they didnt look like normal spiders would - strange bodies and many legs). Their skin was see-through. Like, thin clear plastic that looked like it could burst easily and they were filled with red blood. I felt uneasy upon seeing them. Like there were others around, but I couldn't get away because they were blocking the doorway and I didn't want to run into them or have them jump out at me. I vaugely remember getting caught in a web and that it was autumn-time outside. This dream took place at night-time as well. And remember looking down towards a couch that was on a shaggy orange carpet and seeing a line of smaller ones walking out from under it in a row. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that they were actually ladybugs. I looked back at the ones on the door and they were still "spiders", but one was suddenly gone. The one that was still there had this complicated pretzel/knot-like body and many legs - more than eight. I felt anxious and wanted to get away, but was also curious...? I wouldn't say I was scared ,but the dream had a dark, depressing, anxious feel to it. In real life, insects freak me out a little bit.Does anyone have any insight into this one? Thank you. Are you scared of something, is there anything that makes you feel worried?Red is the colour of danger and alarm, spiders represent our fears; IP: Logged |

Peri, Thank you for your insight. It makes sense, and I've figured a few things out since this dream. IP: Logged |

Hello chrononaut, and welcome I love your user-name. Do you think the dream reflects some complicated, twisted situation which you have caught yourself up in? Or something like that? IP: Logged |

Hi Ra, Yes, something like that. If you changed "situation" to "person", you would be right on. Though he's not complicated anymore. I remembered some more of this dream and it connects with a few others. In the most recent one he was trying to rape me and I woke up gasping for air. I rarely have nightmares but when I do he's starring in them. I've been jolted awake from two of them. I find it funny now that he would call me the "girl of his dreams" when he's been the "boy" of my nightmares. It's becoming clear why I attracted this dark character into my life. I've never been treated so rottenly or ignored so many warning signs. And am sad with myself for putting up (and wrapping myself up) with it and keeping the blinders on for so long. But hey, we live and learn. It's all lessons. I think in dreams and in life eveyone who passes by is an aspect of self that is placed there for healing and forgiveness. It's not easy. Thanks for listening. ------------------ God is, all else is a lie. IP: Logged |

I think you are absolutely right. Thanks for sharing your dream.I didn't really analyze this dream very carefully, so if you feel that you want me to do this, please let me know and I'll be glad to. IP: Logged |
