The dream:My cat had given birth to kittens but when I looked at her, she had a big hole in her side and all of her innards were spilling out. I was crying and asked my hubbie to take her to the vet, but he wouldnt. The next thing I know the hole was gone, but the innards were traling behind her from her backside...yuk....!! We have five cats and the one I dreamed of is called Wild...she is black and white... Anyone??? Thanks IP: Logged |

I guess you should really take her to the vet to make sure she is doing fine or at least pay more attention to her to be on the safe side. IP: Logged |

Hello Sue If this dream is not about your actual cat, then it is a reflection of self. It could reflect your own wounds, probably emotional. Have you "spilled your guts", or have you been feeling "inside-out" lately? Have you exposed your innermost aspects/feelings in some way? Have you been left with a "hole" in your being, some sort of inner emptiness? IP: Logged |

You are certainly welcome Sue. These feelings are harsh and difficult, which is why they are projected upon the cat, so that you are not directly experiencing the full impact of emotion during the dream, although some did get through to you (crying). In this way, your subconscious can safely vent some built up energy. In the dream your hubby wouldn't help, because in reality there is little he can do to heal your wounds (besides support, etc.). I would guess that you could see more of what this scene means than I, as it pertains to your relationship and these emotions. So whether or not he is properly supportive of you, it is still you who must heal you. And it will happen. And it will be just as your dream desribes. The nearly visible hole (at least it feels that way) in your being that you have been left with will relatively quickly disappear, but the bloody guts of the experience will be there still for a while, trailing just behind you, still part of you, still painful, still leaving an emptiness within. To me, this dream seems to indicate that you are beginning a transition period concerning this experience, a step forward in the healing process. Walk in Peace IP: Logged |
