Had a dream the other night I gave birth to a baby after a fast, painfree and easy labour. Someone cut the cord, then I wrapped it in a blanket and put it into a crib. Immediately afterwards in the dream I walked into the bathrooom to find my best friend laying clothed on the floor in the fetal position. She had a baby from that position (dreams don't make sense lol) which was small and it was slippery so I couldn't catch it and it skidded on the tiles then stopped when it bumped into the vanity. I felt so bad but the baby was healthy and fine (though premature but her sister had a prem baby on the 21/10 so maybe thats where it came from). Anyway, I picked up the baby, handed it to her then stood up and my placenta dropped out and I remember thinking "I forgot about that, thank god I didn't get an infection".Weird huh? Been having heavy dreams all week, so much so I've been waking up tired from a good night sleep. Most have been the usual stuff for me, but that one I can't simply analyse myself so here I am asking for help! IP: Logged |

Hello OzMeg Hmmm ... I'm not sure about this one yet, and will give it some more thought. Anyone else? IP: Logged |

Sounds like you and your friend or someone close to you are trying to give birth to something or work something out. You did better than them and lent them a helping hand when they were in need even though you were not ready or strong enough yet to do that. stood up and my placenta dropped out and I remember thinking "I forgot about that, thank god I didn't get an infection"Maybe this dream is also about growing up emotionally or something. That sounds pretty good, what do you think, OzMeg? Or maybe your friend represents a characteristic that you need to recognize within yourself. Do you need to accept help? Something like that. IP: Logged |

Do I need to learn to accept help?Hell yeah. I've got so much on my plate at the moment its ridiculous but I spend far too much time doing things for other people, yet when they offer to help me I feel like a helpless child and get awkward about it. Its hard for me to ask for help. Stubborn. IP: Logged |
