I find myself sometimes having a dream in were i can actually feel things the most recent one i had was last night. I believed that my great grandmother's spirit was living in my closet and when she came to me i could feel a strong feeling of a hand grasping on to my upper right arm.I felt the grasp three times then it moved from my arm to my hand i told her (in my dream) to squeeze my hand a number of times so that she could answer questions i asked her. I felt the sqeeze each time. I woke up very disturbed as i always do when i have these dreams i have also felt the sensation of giving my boyfriend a kiss and felt the sensation of hugs. These dreams are frequently in color also. Anyone have any interpretations? or ideas?

thanks the Aquarian called Des

I don't know, these could be real... however someone once told me that if you meet a spirit of anyone in a dream and they offer you their hand you shouldn't take it. Not to freak anyone out or anything, cos I don't know how true that is. Maybe Ra will know?

Hello Des

I think these kind of dreams reflect instances when you are more lucid than usual, which can bridge the gap between the unconscious, dreaming/astral world and your conscious awareness. So, in my view, these types of experiences with other entities are more akin to astral or out-of-body situations, with astral/spirit contact.

What do you think about that?

And I wouldn't worry about taking a spirit's hand. The superstition says that if you do so, the spirit may grab you up, pull you from your body, and you won't wake up. You woke up.

The bridged gap between uncounsious and conscious make sense the way you explained it. I have told people about my dreams and they look at me like i'm lying or crazy it 's a nice feeling to know there's some kind of explination for them. Is it true that sometimes it's dangerous to Astral Travel?

You are not crazy.

Many will disagree with me when I say this, but it is not dangerous to astral travel. The way I see it, my non-physical self cannot be harmed, not by anything, so what to worry about?

But this is what it depends upon, your beliefs. If you believe it is dangerous, then maybe it is. I don't know. But even so, your soul is immortal so ultimately, you cannot be harmed.

Do a little reading about it, surround yourself with light, ask for guidance from a higher source, and take off.

Have fun with it, and you'll be okay.
