Hi Ra: Happy New Year..

I had a terrible,terrible fight with a guy friend of mine right after the new year and he said some things and I said some things. He was very wrong at what he did to me so I decided that our friendship is over and I told him that.

So about three days after the fact I have a dream and the dream takes place some where in a stair well. He is peeking at me through the stairwell and I just ignore him I see him though. So he comes down from the stairwell and stand and just look at me I continue to ignore him and he moves a lil closer to me and I still ignore him then all of a sudden he grabs me around my waist and is trying to pull me to the bench or chair to sit down. I sit on his lap but still not saying anything and neither is he, he is just hugging me and resting his head on my back. I woke up after that..

Hey Sue: Thats ok..I felt that in my heart and I understood totally in the dream,but I am not that sympathetic in the awakening life..

I hope it's okay to bring this back up. My take is similar, but somewhat different.

The dream seems to reflect the transition (stairwell) that the relationship has taken and the related feelings you have about it. You are hurt (ignore him) but probably would like the issue to heal, for him to reconcile, at least subconsciously.

Do you think it is possible that you could subconsciously wish for this?

So, now that a few weeks have passed, how are things?

Yes I can see exactly what you are saying. It makes so much sense. Do you know that the next day after I had that dream I saw him and the scenario played out just like the dream, only we were not in the stairwell. I did ignore him totally and kept walking and he was really trying to talk to me. This went on for a couple of times that I saw him. Finally about the 3rd time of seeing him I gave in and talked to him and he was very remorseful of what he did and said. We did make up sort of but I still am hurt somewhat. I have just kinda of distant myself and well I am sure he is wondering..
