Not much of a dream remembere but suddenly remembering more and more- Last night i dreamed i was walking thru one of my childhood neighborhoods- many cats meowing and one cat talking to itself in English-all the buildings had sort of cheap plywood nailed over them-even the school where I attended junior high was boarded over- meaning?

Hi tux,

Have you shut something out from yer past....from the age you were at that school.

I think the cats are your guides...they represent your instinct and ability to "feel" yer way through life

Maybe?

Yes, some abandoned part of yourself could be represented. Or an old/outdated aspect. Definately something that has been shut out of your conscious awareness for a while, as Sue said.

How did you feel in this dream?

I felt fine, not afraid. For awhile I wasn't really "noticing" how everything was boarded up. The plywood wa in very faded greens and blues- I was wondering why the old fire station converted into a house was covered and also looking at an area of outside the boarded up school where there was a corner to go round or an area that formed a 3 sided courtyard. While looking that way I saw a black and white cat crossing the street from that area left-to-right and I remember thinking to that cat that I wasn't afraid to go there-
then i noticed there were many cats, including the one walking by talking outloud to itself. When i noticed that cat i was thinking that cats are like people, all sorts. When i awoke I thought perhaps my mother had died and with her my last link to the neighborhood...She hadn't-
