Topic: A 'celebrity' cooks me a steak...

I feel like I might have a vague idea of what this dream means, but I wondered if you could help me out, Ra?As I was falling asleep last night I started dreaming that I was making myself a steak sandwich... all the symbolism in it was pretty obviously sexual. I woke up from it though. But then I dreamed about steak again later in the night. I was hanging out with a few people (I knew two of them), and one of them was a celebrity who speaks out on TV about his struggle with depression. He started cooking for us and he gave me a steak with onions and I think there was potatoes, maybe. The meat smelled really good but I was a bit wary that it might not be cooked properly, so I cut it open and practically dissected it, cutting into it to make sure it was properly cooked. I couldn't see any problem with the meat although I was slightly hesitant, but I went ahead and ate it and it was soooo good. It was delicious! I'm wondering if this is something to do with the fact I've been depressed (the celebrity who speaks out on TV about his depression) but I've also recently been getting to the real issues (cutting into the meat)? In eating the meat am I nourishing myself? I feel like these are vaguely what the dream is about but I'd love your input, Ra!  IP: Logged |

Hello GeminiLover I cannot improve upon your thoughts ... you obviously understand the dream pretty well. I am wondering though, if there is more to the meat. Maybe there is a nutrient in steak, like iron, that you need, something that could help with feeling depressed. What do you think?  IP: Logged |

Wow... my bf said that it could mean that I need iron! However I don't think I'm anaemic... maybe it's worth looking into.Thank you! IP: Logged |

This is so weird... last night I had another dream about cooking meat. This time it was lamb or mutton chops and I was cooking them in a frying pan. Again, I cut into the meat to see if it was cooked (it wasn't - there was a tiny bit of blood coming out). Does this mean there is still some work to do (ie cooking to be done of the meat) on my problems/issues??? The blood also reminded me of some cervical symptoms I was having, which haven't occured this month but yet it seems to have symbolically occured in my dream?Strangely enough, I never EVER cook red meat, but I'm really drawn to buying some and cooking it. I almost did it today but changed my mind... but I can't help myself, I have to do it tomorrow! Any thoughts?
