Topic: Outside an open door - he is inside

I haven't made a post in some time, but last night I had a dream about a man I care about and was wondering how this dream could give me insight to the situation. I was walking outside,( it was almost dark-) towards a building. When I was closer, I saw that there was an open door and HE was sitting in a desk right in front of the door. The light inside seemed bright against the lighting of dusk outside. He turned around and saw me, got up and came outside while I was still walking (slowly) passed. We talked- and the only thing I remember is he said "that I had lost my smile" with genuine concern, and kindness in his eyes. To explain who "HE"is -a man I met about two months ago. I have had a lot of personal issues going on and he came into my life, and made me smile- I felt happier. We both said no committment for our own personal reasons, - Then we had a falling out-long story- about two weeks ago. He said he wanted me to forget I ever met him, and I feel like I didn't do anything wrong, he just will not hear my side of the story. So, I haven't contacted him, and he hasn't contacted me- but I miss him and think about him whenever I am not busy. I understand about an open door, but not how it relates to him being inside, me being outside, the lighting and him coming outside to talk- it's confusing. When I did our charts, we had alot of aspects indicating ESP, telepathy, astral travel, etc. But this is the first time I have remembered a dream with him in it. I do want him to want to see me and at least TALK about what happened- remain friends. I feel like I have done all I can do, I have said I am sorry and I miss him 2 wks. ago and he hasn't called. He is one of the few men I have met that gave me a good discernment. So I wonder if this dream has anything to do with him and how he feels. IP: Logged |

In these kinds of dreams, I believe that there's always a message. I think he's thinking about you as much as you think about him. It's always two sided. I think he wants to contact you, you're still on his mind. It might be sign for you that you should try to contact him and he'll respond to you positively, don't let the silence discourage you. I think you should take the first step (symbolized in the dream as walking by the house he's in) and he'll respond to you the way you want.IP: Logged |

The old me would probably jump to take a chance, but now I am trying to be more hesitant and careful with my heart. I read that book that was on Oprah, "He's just not that into you", and it changed my perception of men and chasing men. The whole book just summarizes to men will find you, call you, date you, etc. by any means necessary when they really want to. The man that co-wrote it, stated the most beautiful, intelligent women out there were all making the same mistakes with men by making excuses for them. I am normally a believer in my gut feelings and what my heart tells me, but it has gotten me into some sticky situations and I am just being more careful and trying to learn. Sorry, I know this could go in Soul Unions, but it is just in reference to whether I should be the one to take action just yet. I am a little scared this time of him not calling me back like again like two weeks ago. IP: Logged |

I agree that if men want to be with you,if they miss you, they call,they do anything. However it may not be the case. He sounded a bit unconventional to me. Although %90 percent of the men act like it's said in that book, there's the %10 that need reassurance. Just listen to your inner voice. It will tell you to get into action when the time is right, or it may also tell you to wait, but it always tells you the right thing to do that's for sure. IP: Logged |

Hi Ra,
I woke up today with words in my head, it was not a dream really- it was Him "saying sorry for being silent, I'm sorry...... " I cannot distinguish if this is just what I want him to say or if it might be some message I am being sent from him..
Were we right as to the meaning of the dream, if I contact him, He will respond the way I want; or are there other factors that suggest otherwise? Could this be just because he is on my mind a great deal of the time?IP: Logged |

Hello Phoenix  Jupitersgirl could be right about him, but I can't say for certain. At the least, the dream suggests that, although the two of you are separated (inside/outside), the door is still open, and it reflects yur desires to talk to him. Write him. Not an e-mail, write him a hand-written letter. Then, let the cards fall where they may, knowing you have done what you can.  IP: Logged | |
