This was a really strange dream. It started with me looking out from the entrance of a limestone looking building (looked alot like queen hatshepsut's tomb). I'm called back in where about 10-12 other women (including myself) were about to begin what looked to be an elaborate ritual. We were dressed in white, loose fitting cloth, black hair (we all looked pretty much the same) and light skin. In the center of the room in a half-moon shape were raised stone tiles on the floor, one for each of us to stand on. There was a woman standing in front of us right in the center. Like the pictures you see of the crescent moon w/the star in the middle. In front of her was a large decorated box against a wall of gold, jewels and animal heads with mouths open like a spout. The woman started the ritual, then what looked like saffron water started coming out of the animal heads and into the box, which contained a body. The saffron water kept getting darker and darker until it looked like blood coming out, filling the box with the body floating in it. It began overflowing onto the floor and towards us. I realized I had stepped off my raised tile and noticed I was wearing sandals. The bloody looking water was creeping up on my feet so I stepped back up onto my tile. Next thing I know there is a guy stepping out of the box. He walked over to me and I noticed he wasn't quite human looking. All the body parts were human (and exceedingly beautiful) but his hair looked as though it had gold in it and his eyes were the color of simulated emeralds. His skin was golden brown and had a gold glow to it. He took my hand and we proceeded to have sex. Not lusty sex. It was as if it were my job. Like part of the ritual. We never spoke to one another. I don't know much about egyptology or witchcraft so this dream has me confused as to what the meaning could be. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. This one has stumped me. Hello Krista  This elaborate and detailed ritual could indicate that you are transitioning into some new level or phase of life experience, possibly involving unconscious energies which are moving into conscious awareness, and possibly moving you closer to some esoteric or universal mystery/truth/energy. The specifics, I am not sure of, or even if this transition is an accurate interpretation. If you are experiencing something like this, consciously or unconsciously, I think your unconscious mind hooked into past life experience/memory as a way to relate/express this present energy. If you are not experiencing any kind of transition, I still believe that the dream images stem from past life experience. How did you feel during this dream? What emotions, if any, did you experience? How did you feel upon awakening? And how/what do you feel about it now?  IP: Logged |

Thank you for your reply Ra. I felt slightly nervous during the ritual. Like I wasn't sure what to expect. The ritual part itself didn't make me nervous, I felt very comfortable with what we were doing. It seemed like the rest of us were focusing our attention/energy on the lady who was front and center. I didn't even feel nervous about the sex part. I just bowed my head to him respectfully and off we went. That is different from my current personality. What you say about transition is intriguing. My life has always seemed like one long transition to a better place (especially spiritually), but has become more pronounced after my saturn return about 7 years ago. Again, thanx for your input.
