Weird dreams… Apparently not connected… I don’t know if they reflect different sides of the same picture because I lack the knowledge in symbology… I believe their themes, isolated, are very common themes...1st dream (last night) – I was one maybe two months pregnant (I’m actually not, and I have no chance in the near future as I’m not in a relationship. Lately I’m surrounded by pregnant women and babies… I’d like it at some point but I wouldn’t have a baby in my situation). It wasn’t a traumatic dream, I wasn’t at all embarrassed because I was on my own… For me it was completely natural, no matter the outraged and shocked reactions of other people… I told everyone with no remorse… 2nd dream (last night, right after the previous one) – Me with a group of work colleagues. Going somewhere. It was like a run away but not stressful… We were a bit rushed… I would cross the road jumping the red light while the others waited… However, when we got to the railway area (huge open field, no station, just rails crossing everywhere) they ran across instead of using the flyovers… Crossing the railway was dangerous but the train (an old fashioned rusty train) was leaving in a few minutes and we absolutely had to catch it… I anyway climbed to the flyover, using the narrow metal stair… It was very crowded, I would miss the train… I moved along the trembling metal platform and then started do climb down the metal stairs on the other side… The train was already whistling ready to leave… So I threw myself down!!! I remember falling, floating… The person below me had done the same and a couple above… I hit the ground falling in the top of that person so I didn’t get hurt. Everything was slow-motion. I couldn’t move and the other two were going to land on me!!! I pulled away in the last minute!!! The train was starting to move but if I run maybe… And I woke up… In real life I usually take a train in a station where I have to change platforms using a flyover going through very narrow mechanic stairs… but the free fall must mean something!! 3rd dream (today) – A literature exam. I was taking the exam with the other group and the topics were different from the ones my teacher taught me so I hardly could answer any question. One question I could answer was about novelling after choosing a topic from a list. I chose a plane crash after an engine exploded, and described anguish and pain very powerfully so the other teacher complimented my skills… I took most of the time of the exam in doing this when I still had 7 questions unfilled… I must say I have a German exam in a week and I’m starting to worry about it… Any connection among them??? It’s very strange that I dream in weekdays because I’m usually exhausted and sleep so few hours that I go from deep sleep to waking up without going through the light phase needed to dream… My subconscious must be very active…

Hola steelrose Have you begun something (pregnant) that others may not agree with? In the dream you are confident, and what others think does not matter to you ... is this so in waking life? In the second dream you have taken a different path than your colleagues. Your way is not a short cut and it is less dangerous/not as risky. Does this describe any work situation you may be in? (or any other situation for that matter ) I'm thinking that the old fashioned rusty train symbolizes an outdated "mode" of "travel", some old way/pattern/situation in your life, yet something you must involve yourself with, some "fixed" path you are on (train tracks) ... like your job, maybe? Or a relationship, habit, etc.? Does your job feel like a "free fall"? Are you "throwing yourself into it" out of desperation? The third dream does seem to reflect anxiety you have about the exam, but it feels like there is another level to it. Planes often refer to job/career dynamics. Could it be that you have a "crash and burn" fear concerning your job? If you think about the anguish and pain that you powerfully described, what life issue comes to mind? IP: Logged | |
