I'm trying to figure this one out, and while I have my own interpretation I'm wondering what anyone else might think.

My bf dreamed that he and I were with Brian Eno (a music guy/somewhat of an ambient composer I suppose), and we were in a crowd of people waiting for the Bee Gees to arrive. And Brian Eno said "look here they are" and my bf got photos with them (or maybe just with one of them, I'm not sure). And he said he was looking up at the Bee Gees guy because he was really really tall.

I feel like there's something interesting in this dream, but my own interpretation could be just that - mine, but as it's not my dream I might have it completely wrong and it could be just the way that I see things in his life, but not how he sees them. My idea is that Brian Eno could be a combination of his and my energies - bf is Gemini, I'm Taurus, and Brian Eno is a Taurus with Gemini Rising. Brian Eno also makes music which is relaxing and I guess could be nurturing (it's the music my bf likes falling asleep to). As for the Bee Gees, the way I see it is that they could represent my bf and his own two brothers (a unit of three, all quite similar to one another, like the Bee Gees are similar to each other). Why he sees the Bee Gees as very tall, I'm not 100% sure. (It might not even have anything to do with himself or his brothers...)

Any input?

Hello GeminiLover

Well, if the BeeGees do represent him and his brothers, maybe he feels less than them, or one of them, in some way, and maybe he needs to relax about it (Brian Eno). ???

Otherwise, what do the BeeGees mean to your boyfriend? Whatever the answer is, it could be that your boyfriend feels lacking in "it", or less than "it", or perhaps "it" seems out of his reach.

Thoughts?

You know... that really makes sense. It could take a while to unravel the complexity of it, but he's older than those two brothers BUT he is the middle child of the family. (There are also two older brothers, but the youngest three are definitely a unit all of their own). The younger two brothers have found it easy to get jobs but he's been finding it hard... so it could be that... and how he feels about it on a much deeper level. I think it's definitely a self-esteem issue. And yes, it could be that he needs to relax, as in "let go" of this feeling. I do think that Brian Eno is something nurturing for him, so maybe that's what he needs to feel better?

He seems to have fun with a few Bee Gees songs... but he's bugged by the fact I borrowed my sister's Bee Gees CD... like he sees them as an annoying pop group. But yet when the songs are on, he has fun. There are any number of things he might subconsciously feel about the Bee Gees (jealous of their long hair or success, the fact they got my attention)...

Thanks for the input! I normally wouldn't post a dream about random popstars, but it was just the fact that he seemed to be compelled to tell me about the dream. He's the kind of person who remembers his dreams every night but doesn't always talk about them. And he knows psychoanalysis quite thoroughly, so he can usually analyse dreams as well - yet he offered no interpretation for this one. Maybe he knows what it means and doesn't want to admit it?
