Hey man? I woke up from a pretty wierd dream not too long ago and I thought of you...LOL

Firstly, how have you been? It seems like a whole lifetime has passed since i talked to you man..Hope all is well with you and family.

I had a dream that I was back in my parents home again (not the me today with hair down my shoulders and 190 lbs. but the skinny me you'd remember from nearly four years ago) in my old room with the door closed with two animals in my room. one was a shih tzu-kinda dog (kinda gray and scruffy- with a greeen collar on) and a fat white rabbit.

One thing that was interesting. I seemed not to be afraid of either of these creatures. Me awake would never close myself in with any animal.

But anyway, I started playing with the animals and for some reason the shih tzu jumped up on one of the dressers and kinda hid himself at one point. Then I got the rabbit to jump around attempting to turn the light switch on..dont know why..just did.(I had no clue that the light wasnt on at all before that )...so the rabbit is just jumping all over, really high and coming really close to flicking the switch and Im standing right by the switch encouraging the rabbit to complete the assignment. The dog just keeps looking out of the corner of the room. Funny thing is where the dog is, there used to be my closet but its not there anymore, just the dresser...

but the end of the story is while im encouraging this rabbit to turn on the light, it accidently bites me on the finger...so hard i could hear the crunch. I dont even think I screamed.

And thats the end of the dream.

So should I just go back to sleep or should I have learned something from this dream?

Holler back when you get the chance man. Im looking forward to hearing from you.

Chris! My friend! It is great to hear from you.

190? ... long hair? ... Has it been four years already? Wow. Things change, don't they? And you certainly have. I hope things are okay with you. I must say I was very concerned about you after all that went on in your life so soon after you left Atlanta.

I'll take a look at your dream just as soon as I can. No closet, huh? Does that mean you have come out of it? Lots of interesting stuff in this dream.

Back soon!

Yep. I have locs that come down to the middle of my back now, and I go to the gym three times a week..I dont look the same to my family since I've left Georgia...

Thanks for your concern man..it was touch and go for a while after my 'drama'
I thought I would walk with a limp for the rest of my life due to the damage that was done but to see me you would never know I went through anything like I did. Still deal with some emotional and mental issues still but all in all Im alright.

No...I am still rather closeted and secretive (some say)so i cant explain the no closet deal.

How is the family? and the little baby? now theyve got to be like three something years old, huh? how is Ben (was that his name?) and the wife?

Looking forward to hearing from ya later.

Heya Chris

Baby? What baby? Jake is four years old now. Can you believe it? Ben is great (he's 8). Lisa is absolutely fantastic.

I have no complaints ... everything is great!

Now, as for your dream ... I'm not sure about this, but here are some possibilities.

This dream seems to hook into certain patterns which originated in the past (parent's home), patterns which concern conflict between opposing inner aspects of self (two animals).

The dog could be the part of you that is still closed off, just remaining "kinda hid". This part of yourself is in need of "coming out of the closet" (no closet), and the dream could suggest that perhaps you should take control of this part of you, to own it, to "wear" it (dresser).

The rabbit could represent a new (white) aspect which you are attempting to activate, to "switch on", to shine light upon, an aspect perhaps akin to freedom/fertility/growth.

The end of the dream could suggest that as you try to "encourage" yourself to take this step, to "switch on" this part of yourself, you may get "bitten" ... there may be some kind of "injury", or at least you would expect there to be, but perhaps there will be less pain than you think.

I don't know exactly what all of this means, or even if it means anything ... what do you think? Does any of this feel familiar or correct?
