For the past few months I was having recurring dreams of being in a great relationship, being a girlfriend or a wife. These dreams have a very pleasant and secure feeling about them. Not so much sexual but rather loving. It is usually a nice situation like a party, walking in the park, buying things together etc... My dream partner is perfect, like all I ever wanted in men. I certainly wake up smiling. Dreams are similar but the man is never the same and he is always a complete stranger, not anyone I ever knew.

On the surface the meaning seems to be pretty obvious - longing for relationship and "prince charming". But I am in a great relationship right now, probably the best one I ever had. I don't dream about my boyfriend though... Could that mean that I look at him as a perfect partner but don't really know him? Or, is it a little voice telling me "there are great man out there, why settle now?"

Well, I think you are much more able to answer these questions than I.

Do you feel like you are "settling"? Are you longing for relationship and "prince charming"? Do you really look at him as a perfect partner but don't really know him?
