The other night I had the most bizarre dream. I dreamt that there was a farmer who somehow kept breeding dogs and chickens together. As you can imagine, the result was what I mentioned in my title: animals with the body of a dog and the head of a chicken. They were running around all over the place and it really freaked me out in the dream (actually freaks me out right now just thinking about it).

Very peculiar. Let's see if we can figure it out.

To begin with the simplest questions ...

Has something "freaked you out" very recently?

Has something been "combined" in your life, or someone's you know, that doesn't make any sense?

If the dream is not that simple, then we must look at the dog and chicken symbology and what combining these creatures could mean to you. What do you associate with dogs? Chickens?

It could be something like ... fear (chicken) of commitment, loyalty, or unconditional love (dog). Or anxiety/fear concerning security or safety. And this could be about you, or it could reflect someone/something else. Maybe a boyfriend? Or job?

How would you combine these two animals and what they mean to you into something that reflects an issue/situation/person in your life?

Any further thoughts or ideas?

Anxiety about security? Yep. Especially once this move my family makes (without me) takes place. I do have a job but I don't know if I'll get by on this without them. I have to think about schoolbooks next year which are verrrry expensive. And its a real pain in the @ss to get my dad to help me out on anything (being the ornery crab that he is ).

Fear of unconditional love? That's an interesting one......

Could all of this apply?
