I don't always remember my dreams but every once in awhile I will have a dream that plays out almost like I'm watching a movie and it will be very detailed they sometimes seem to have messages for me but this one was confusing I am wondering if may be I was dreaming of a past life. Or if there is any symbolism in this dream that someone can help me with. Thank you for your time.

I was really sleepy early yesterday and I never take a nap during the day just too much to do. I really felt the need to sleep for a bit so I went to take a nap. In my dream I was digging in the garden ( I'm starting a community garden with the children where I live) I was turning the soil and I dug a hole the hole went deep and I looked into it and I said how deep is this going ? I started to hear noise and I looked over my shoulder and there below the hill where the garden is I saw what looked like a rock quarry there where a lot of people in it almost like a town. I decided to go down to see what it was and saw a lot of men that I have known in my life ,friends and they recognized me. They kept asking me for help,but with small things. One guy came and asked if I could find him a basket ball another asked me if I was going to be cooking for them. Little things like that. They where all dressed in old fashioned clothing I wandered around for a bit talking to some people and just taking it all in. A little boy came with a bike and I recognized him although I know I don't know him I knew his father from somewhere. I kept trying to catch him because he looked like he was going to hurt someone with his bike or himself I grabbed him and I said your going to get hurt riding that bike like that I know your dad and he wouldn't want you to do that. He just smiled at me, and then the bike tipped over and I lifted him off of it. Then I started to walk to a building very old fashioned all made of wood and I entered it and there where very long tables in a dark room lots of men where eating there ( it resembled a work camp cafeteria) here is where the dream switches I am now observing it as myself but I'm another person in the dream as well as the other person I'm wearing clothes like the old west and I have dishes set on one of the tables and I make an announcement that we need some help if anyone is interested in working there ? one lady comes and she says she would like the job and i put her to wash some dishes with just a bowl of water I know in the dream that we don't have very much water and we have to wash them this way It seems I'm explaining this to the me observing the dream. She washes the dishes along side of me and I tell her "you'll do" I explain to her that we set up three meals a day for all the workers.It is hard work, she will get room and board but very little money. She says this is fine that she doesn't have a family she let her children go because she couldn't take care of them. I just nod and tell her that I will see her when we serve the next meal. One of the other ladies comes to me as she leaves and asks if its a good idea to have her working here . I look at her and tell her that she's fine , can't be any worse then half of the men we serve anyway. I leave this area and I go to another part of the building Now I'm in a room laying down I know I don't feel well. One of my neighbors come in and ask me if its ok If she does some laundry here and cooks for her husband. I tell her it is fine and I let her know that I'm happy to have hired the other girl now I can get a little rest. She is cooking in the room adjacent and she doesn't seem to like the new girl either. I tell her Well at least I can get some rest now I need it. I'm walking around again the building is still all wood but the walls look like planks and there is carving all over the walls I see two girls trying to read the carving on the walls I ask what they are doing here and they said they are looking for a girl who died here I ask if her name was Michelle( that is my name) they say they don't know her name but when she died they found her in here years ago and that she was face down with a tatoo on her back of angels wings with a heart in the center and metatron written across the back of the heart I ask if someone killed her but no one knows how she died. I see her face down on the floor and I see the tattoo. I look around at some of the carving on the wall and I see a lot of words that start with the letter M meuch ,mkare, trying to remember the words written on the wall when one of the girls says do you know that you are on a riverboat??? I say "I am?" yes its a riverboat and it is called the tiffany this surprises me because I thought I was in the building I look around and at this point I wake up . Sorry I know this is a bit long ... When I dream like this there is usually something Im supposed to get from it.Any help would be great thanks

This is a very interesting dream, newMica.

These words came to me immediately ...

Present conditions, situations, and associations have brought about, connected with, this past life memory. You are surrounded by many of the same entities in this life, in various roles and in various associations. The garden you are planning now is the same as the garden you grew then, in the spirit of community, and with many of those past life associations, many now as children.

So, the dream garden is a literal experiential connection between this life and the other, but it is also symbolic of digging into your unconscious, where these past life memories exist. In the dream you ask yourself, "how deep is this going?" Indeed. It went pretty deep!

In fact, had you kept dreaming, I wonder how much more deep it would have gotten. I feel like the end of this dream was beginning to lead into a connection with yet another past life. The river boat, while perhaps literal, can also be seen as a transition symbol, a transition from the Old West past life to one further back. The carving on the walls, the peculiar M words, the tatoo, and Metatron all have the feeling of the ancient mid-east ... don't you think?

Wow ra What your saying makes alot of sense. The other day when I was turing the soil at the new garden I really felt like "this is mine" There were some obstacles to getting it started and I kept saying why am I getting myself into this, but I really felt it was something I needed to do with the children. Im new to the community and since I moved here I have felt the need to do things for the kids here.

When you said the middle east that is sooo weird my sons father is eygyptian. I'm puerto rican and my family and friends were always saying how did you get together with an egyptian your so different. (we are not together anymore) but many times he told me he was going to take me to eygpt to live.

I googled the word metatron. For some reason that really seemed to stick out in my dream I focused on it when I looked at the girls back. Metatron is the angel in heaven that was appointed to write everything down a scribe ... Where I live now is a low income community and everyone here comes to me to write for them letters, help with resumes school documents. When ever they have a , problem the first thing I say is "it must be in writing" " You must document everything otherwise no one will listen to you" Don't call put it in a letter. ( I do alot of community service) well now they tease me saying "put it in writing" because they know thats what Im going to tell them When I looked up metatron and saw he was a scribe I just laughed

Yes I felt like the dream wanted to continue I think I was going to keep walking around the building I felt like I was exploring. I didn't wake up naturally my daughter came and woke me. I don't know if I will be able to pick up the dream.... I really would like to but not sure if I can
