Dreamt I was on top of a big-rig truck and it was in a huge warehouse trying to leave. I was hanging from the rafters and swung down to help for some reason. A girl I went to primary school with was on top of the truck too, she had a bizarre curly perm in the dream. I told her what we needed to do and swung down the back of the truck cos the back doors weren't shut properly. I managed to get the handles to the flapping doors and opened them to find there was nothing inside the trucks cavity, I wasn't surprised but was wondering why the truck was so desperate top leave the warehouse with nothing inside. I shut the doors and the dream ended.

Then I was in a friend's restaurant and it was closed but we were sitting at the bar drinking bourbon with coke (I don't drink that-yuk) I made cream of chicken soup from a packet and we ate it. I saw a banjo and told them my step-father used to play one and said I may be able to play it. I couldn't play it and someone showed me the frets on it were one higher than a guitar so suddenly I could play songs on it.

Next dream I was in a beautiful house with lots of timber french doors. I was there with another family, mostly with the teenage and younger children, including my own. Someone put the heating on and I said it would work better if we opened all the windows a little bit. The windows were all easy to open so I opened them just a little to help the heater. Someone outside began shooting at us so we ducked down below the level of the windows and behind the heavy timber kitchen benches.
We went into a room with an indoor swimming pool but it was too hot so I went outside and put my feet into another pool. There were swimming pools everywhere, some with slides, others with spas and some more indoor heated pools. I didn't know where to swim but merely being surrounded by so many pools was comforting. All the other people chose different pools, while I just walked around and dipped my toes into a few.
I went back inside and swam in the hot pool, deciding it wasn't so hot after all and enjoyed it like a warm bath.

The first part could be related to your work/job (big-rig truck). Is something going on that has you puzzled or wondering?

The second part suggests that you need only make some minor adjustments in order to bring harmony, balance, or self-expression to some situation. Is this related to work, as in the first part?

The shape of the banjo can also be symbolic of both masculine and feminine energies, or the merging of the two in order to achieve balance, "make music". Not sure if this is relevant though.

The next dream seems to suggest that your awareness is opening up (open windows) to subconscious material/energies (pools), although you are still "dodging bullets" of the subconscious variety and are uncertain about where to "dive in" (walked around/dipped toes), or about where you should rest/discover your emotional energies. This dream, to me, shows a progression towards growth. Relax, says the dream.
