I don't usually have bad dreams. I have many strange dreams, but not bad or violent ones.

I've had these over the last 2 weeks.

The first dream, I'm in an airplane in a small area where there are no seats or anything. There is a woman with a baby in a stroller next to me. I know that the plane is going down. She starts to panic and is asking me for reassurance..."It's not really going to crash, is it?" I don't answer her. I'm sitting on the ground and I put my hands over my head to prepare for the crash, then I wake up.

In the second dream, I'm part of a crew of flight attendants on a plane. There are about 6 of us. One of the flight attendants pulls out a machine gun and shoots all of us. I'm not dead, but I don't move. He gets on his cell phone and is telling someone that "he did it." He starts walking over to each one of us to check to see if we're dead. He uses his foot to push me over and I "play dead" as best as I can, so he thinks I am. (This part felt so real. I could feel him push me over.) I was so scared that he'd find out I was alive. Then, I wake up.

Any idea what this could mean?

Thanks!

Hello EighthMoon

You fear or are concerned some aspect of your life may "crash" or come to an abrupt end (shot/play dead). Oftentimes an airplane can symbolize our working or professional lives. Are you concerned about your job? Problems with a coworker? Trying to avoid drawing attention to yourself? If not job related, what part of your life could these dreams reflect?
