this one was really scary....So I was watching psycho. I believe. And I fell asleep....on the floor. It was a nap. And well, I got one of those I couldn't move thing again....and I remember my head was tilted really far back, and my jaw was working, trying to move. And then, remember in psycho, by Alfred Hitchcock? In that last scene, when the young man turned into his mother, and he had taht awful totally frightening smile? I saw that face, and yet it was his mothers, like...over mine. Smiling..and I think I heard laughter. ther wasn't any sort of light or pulsing or anything, just it was very very hard to move. And I was scared. IP: Logged |

Hello! Sleep paralysis can be scary if you have no idea what is happening. But this happens to a lot of people. When we are sleeping, our brains shut our muscles off, otherwise we would physically act out our dreams and wake up exhausted! This is what is known as sleep paralysis, and it is quite normal. As you awaken, the paralysis drifts off with your dreams, usually. If your mind wakes up faster than your body ... you can't move, can't speak, can't do anything. Eventually, your body is released. Hope that helps. As for the faces and stuff ... I'm not sure about that. IP: Logged | |
