I had a dream the other night that I'm having trouble figuring out. It started with me seated in the grass meditating very deeply. Furry upright critters that could speak came up to me and asked me how they too could see light. They didn't say "the" light, just light. When I stood up to speak to them (they were almost as tall as me)I noticed that I was wearing a long blue/indigo gown or robe, if that means anything. I squatted back down to show them how to do what I was doing, and almost immediately it felt as if the top of my head opened up and my mind merged with something I'm having trouble describing here. Like my mind became really, really huge and part of what felt like a vast field of consciousness. And there was indeed light(if only I could pull that off while awake!). Then I noticed in the distance my ex-husband and children walking towards me and I started to feel a bit guilty over what I was doing. Like they wouldn't approve of it. So I got up and started to feel more like the everyday me that's writing this post. My ex and I are good friends and both he and my kids are actually interested in this kind of thing. Any ideas? I take this to mean that you are entering a stage of personal spiritual growth.The guilt is experienced because of the immense love towards your physical family. [Their inner path is a bit different than yours] -this is totally normal...
You feel as if they are missing out, perhaps.. Does this reasonate with you? ------------------

Hello sushifruit  I very much agree with yourfriendinspirit. Apart from the suggestions of guilt/disapproval concerning your family (but certainly related to it), it could be suggested that you are in need of, or are in the process of, reconnecting with spiritual/higher/expanded aspects of Self. The talking critters are an archetype of the Self and are there to relay some sort of wisdom message. Like true teachers, they inspire you to reach inward, and outward, and catalyze a process which infuses you with a very special energy. What you describe is akin to that expanded, Buddha type of consciousness. Very cool.  How do you feel about any of that?  IP: Logged |

I just remembered a part of that dream a few days ago that I forgot to mention. I don't know if it has any significance, but here it is. I was not alone while meditating. There was a small, bald person wearing a white robe with me. I understood them to be my guide or teacher. I asked another small bald person in a white robe if I could remain there with my guide to help "them" (the furry upright critters) see light. The conversation I had with the one I was "requesting permission" from had a very serious tone to it. Sorry to add this in so late, but my memory works like that! Lots of Love, KristaIP: Logged | |
