For whatever reason, I need to run, but it takes A LOT of effort to go so slow.Like last night, it was a dream where I needed to travel back home with my buddy. We went on the first bus, than had to get off and catch a transfer bus. Than, I realized I had forgotten my ticket for the transfer bus. He told me to run home (interesting seeing as I traveled away from it). Nonetheless, I was all of a sudden close to home again and running home to see if I had the ticket, while trying to be back in time for the bus that would be there in nine minutes. but I was moving slow as all heck. When I got home I didn't have my keys. So why do I keep having dreams where I am running real slow? Almost like walking but with the effort of running? IP: Logged |

Hello carlfloydfan Some fear or negative attitude/emotion is holding you back, forcing you to use much more energy than necessary. Perhaps you feel helpless in some way, or insufficient/unprepared, or maybe you have a fear of actually succeeding. This dream mentions 'home' ... are you between two homes or two ways of life? Are you transitioning from one to the other? Are you ready? Are you confident? Do you feel inadequate or are you concerned about being prepared? What do you think? IP: Logged |

Perhaps you are astral traveling. I have dreams like that too, where I feel like I am moving my legs faster and faster to get my destination, only to realize I am floating in air. Its pretty cool actually. I taught myself how to lucid dream years ago. Whenever I feel the sensation of running without really getting anywhere, I suddenly become very aware of my surroundings (where lucid dreaming has helped me) and more often than not...I am floating a few inches off of the ground. So I just swim through whatever "place" I happen to be in. IP: Logged |

I would love to lucid dream.I have not yet. someday. The dreams were pretty clear however, I was more aware in these dreams than most. Most of the time, I am just running to finish a mundane task. IP: Logged |
